Love
In todays episode I focus on the idea that: there is an infinite amount of love in the world. I think it’s important we are reminded every now and then that there’s no limit to how much love we can give. And if you give love with no expectations on getting it back, you find love in things you never would have expected to find it. Enjoy ♡ In the episode, I reference: Brent Brown - ‘Common enemy intimacy’ - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeXmYvBI0Co (from 50:56 - 52:50 mins)

'Being chosen'
Ahhhhhhh, being chosen. I would say the feeling of being chosen is incredibly comforting. Remember at school when they would pick sports teams? How badly you wanted to be chosen as soon as possible? Or when you’re applying for a job amongst several other people and you’re the one that’s picked for it!!? Or when someone comes up to you in a bar and takes interest in you? It’s a great feeling. I am not going to pretend like it isn’t. HOWEVER, It’s also just as (or more) importan...

A course that changed my life
So in today’s episode, I speak about my experience doing the PQ course. The PQ course is a course developed by a very intelligent man called Shirzad Chamine, and it’s main goal is to strengthen the right side of your brain that is less reactive, more felt and is where your problem solving takes place. This course has genuinely transformed the way I think. I notice that I have much more awareness and control over my mind and therefore am not as much of a victim to my thoughts! ...

What are you deserving of?
Florence Given shared recently on her podcast that… The Universe will keep sending you things that you keep accepting. She then went on to say that this means that if you keep accepting sub-optimal behaviour from people around you/even from yourself, you will keep being sent those things, even though they’re not what you deserve! You deserve to be treated with respect, you deserve to be considered, you deserve to feel valued and cared for, but if you keep accepting people in your life...

Courage
Courage is = Feeling the fear, and doing it anyway. This is a quote I stumbled upon a few years ago, I sadly can’t remember who from (It may be Brent Brown actually) and it really stuck with me. I believe that courage takes many forms and we are all courageous beings. Things that may seem courageous on the outside, may not invoke the same amount of fear that something relatively ‘benign’ may, and that’s the beauty of being a human. Not one thing impacts everyone the same way!&...

Friendships
Ahh. This episode is a really wholesome one. It’s my own reflection on how I have viewed friendships throughout my teens and early twenties. It’s nice because it has a happy ending. I have had my fair share of toxic and complicated friendships in my past that have left lasting marks on me. But, those experiences have lead me to where I am now… Which is a really good place. :) I hope you enjoy this episode very much.

No Matter Where You Go, There You Are
This quote, has hugely hugely changed my outlook on life. I have been known to want to move away from my home country, start a new life, go on new adventures and meet new people. I have a yearning to LEAVE to RUN AWAY to EXPLORE that is still very strong within me. I really do feel like a child to the world in a lot of ways. However, I also have learned that if I am looking for an answer or new beginning in different geographical locations… once the nuance of the experiences die out, ...

Dealing with the unknown
In this episode, I speak about ‘the unknown’. I grew up in a culture that is quite uncomfortable with ‘the unknown’. We are constantly planning for the future, always looking ahead and naturally struggle to be present and in the moment. I find comfort in control and in planning but it also gives me a lot of anxiety because I know that I cannot actually plan out how my life will look. Over the last year, me and ‘the unknown’ have become friends. I have realised that all I really have c...

My Relationship with Time
I’m currently learning how to live slowly. Take things in my stride and not overthink/overcomplicate what’s in front of me. I have had the privilege of being able to travel on my own. From that experience, one of the biggest lessons I learned was that having time and no one else’s thoughts or opinions clouding my own, means that I can actually take notice of what feelings come up in me depending on what I’m doing/who I am around. It has meant that I am able to love and look after mysel...

My *Complicated* Relationship with Myself
Ok so I ask that you bear with me initially in this episode, as I find my feet and direction of thought. Today I talk about self esteem. Having self esteem has not always been something I’ve had the privilege of experiencing. I’ve worked hard and managed to build a more secure base of self love for myself over the last few years but I do find myself still in spirals of doubt or convincing myself I’m not capable. This shows up ten fold in dating for me. Something I know others also e...

Not Being Perfect, But Doing It Anyway
‘There is no time like the present.’ Possibly one of the most overused sayings… but I cannot argue with it! I find myself talking myself out of so many decisions and ideas that honestly wouldn’t cost me much to explore, because I’m scared I don’t know enough/ scared of getting it wrong/ scared of feeling embarrassed or ashamed. I don’t judge myself for doing this, I know I do it because I am trying to protect myself from pain and rejection, but I am starting to realise that th...

Confessions of An Overthinker
Ok this weeks episode is very vulnerable. I explore my overthinking tendencies and how this shows up in my life. One of the ways this shows up, is in the belief that I am ‘too much’ for others. That my presence is too much and that I need to dim myself down to be able to fit in and connect with others. However, all this has done has encouraged me to connect to the wrong people. People that don’t align with me. That’s not to say these people in my past have been bad or wrong in any way...

My Take on Dating
Dating… Everyones favourite topic to gossip about but not so favourite topic to navigate :) I wanted to make an episode on dating because I have always found dating, meeting new people, experiencing myself in different environments, to be something that has taught me SO MUCH about myself. The fact you are opening yourself to be more intimate and vulnerable with another person teaches you a lot about how you react to certain situations that you would not have experienced when you were single...

Sense of Self
“No one can take away what you’ve put in your own mind.” - Dr. Edith Eger This is the basis of todays episode. One of my teachers, Ethan, on my counselling course mentioned Edith Eger and her work as a psychotherapist after surviving the holocaust. He quoted the above and it impacted me so deeply. I am naturally someone who craves love and validation from outside of myself and that has been the cause of much pain in my life. Hearing something like this almost gives me permis...

Listen to Your Body
In todays episode, I explore the relationship we have with our bodies. I have personally noticed how misaligned from my own body I have been and how much I have ignored the signs it has desperately tried to communicate to me. It is a trait that I feel many of us have experienced, and not something I criticise at all, because I think that life is simply too busy for us to take a breather and check in with ourselves. So this is the invite to BREATHE. Our bodies are a strong and ...

My Gen Z Perspective
In this episode, I share my feelings around being a Gen Z(er) and how sometimes the general narrative around us can be quite tiring to hear. This episode is definitely more of a personal one and somewhat niche, so do bear with me! At the end, I share some of the methods I have found useful: Whether that’s the people online I like to follow, or approaches I take to try to connect myself to others more… as the loneliness can sometimes get quite overwhelming! Any opinions or different takes to m...

The Value of Our Experience
In this episode, I explore the idea of ‘experience’ and how our society has turned experience into a currency that we compare between ourselves… I personally think it’s BULLSHIT and so I share my thoughts on this :) Enjoy!

Introducing Me & Our Complexities
In this episode, I begin by introducing myself and giving a brief summary of where I currently am in life. I then go on to speak about an idea or concept that I find very interesting about humans... The fact that we are walking contradictions who are able to hold opposing views and beliefs at the same time. I really hope you enjoy this episode :)
