{قل يا عبادي الذين اسرفوا على أنفسهم لا تقنطوا من الرحمة الله إن الله يغفر الذنوب جميعا إنه هو الغفور الرحيم}
Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins.1 He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

The Hadith on how happy Allah is to due to the return of a slave:
Anas bin Malik Al-Ansari (MayAllah be pleased with him) the servant of the Messenger of Allah narrated:Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Verily, Allah is more delighted with the repentance of His slave than a person who lost his camel in a desert land and then finds it (unexpectedly)".
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
In another version of Muslim, he said: "Verily, Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a person who has his camel in a waterless desert carrying his provision of food and drink and it is lost. He, having lost all hopes (to get that back), lies down in shade and is disappointed about his camel; when all of a sudden he finds that camel standing before him. He takes hold of its reins and then out of boundless joy blurts out: 'O Allah, You are my slave and I am Your Rubb'.He commits this mistake out of extreme joy".

You’re entering sacred time, so do more
As we enter Dhul-Qa’dah, one of the sacred months, this episode is a gentle reminder that not all time is the same.
Allah says:
“Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months… of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them…” (Surah At-Tawbah 9:36)
And the Prophet ﷺ said:
“The year is twelve months, of which four are sacred: three consecutive months—Dhul-Qa’dah, Dhul-Hijjah, and Muharram—and Rajab…” (Bukhari & Muslim)
A short reflection on becoming more aware of sacred time, and how even small actions can carry greater weight within it.

commitment in order to get to Allah’s love
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ،
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنْ لَنْ يُدْخِلَ أَحَدَكُمْ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ، وَأَنَّ أَحَبَّ الأَعْمَالِ أَدْوَمُهَا إِلَى اللَّهِ، وَإِنْ قَلَّ "
Narrated `Aisha:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately and know that your deeds will not make you enter Paradise, and that the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little."
