'The Life of an Expert Dog Witness' with Caroline Lewis

Our 'A Dog's Pace' podcast is recorded every month and includes member interviews, special guests and other SLOW focused stories and content. The entire podcast is available on our PATREON (https://www.patreon.com/slowdogmovement) page at the AMBASSADOG level, and as a portion on Apple Podcasts (https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/a-dogs-pace/id6788843289). Almost all of our podcasts ARE available in full, so ask your dog loving friends to start listening! In September and October, we will be speaking with Caroline Lewis about her work as an ‘expert witness’ for dogs and the difficult subject of ‘dangerous dogs’ and the XL Bully situation in the UK.’ Caroline is a dog behaviour consultant and runs ‘Help at Hand Dog Training & Behaviour (https://www.facebook.com/helpathanddogtraining)’  in the U.K. who specialises in deaf & blind dogs, rescue dogs, adolescent dogs, and the plight of the XL Bully. I have known Caroline as a fellow colleague, for years and have loved getting to know her during her ‘deaf dogs’ series last year here on the podcast and am looking forward to this year’s podcasts too. Caroline mentioned this resource during the podcast: ‘This is the direct link to the solicitors I recommend, and it should take you straight in to the section for owners. I think it's a bargain price for what you get. And I have worked with this practice and can state they are brilliant: https://doglaw.co.uk/dog-law-sos/.' (https://doglaw.co.uk/dog-law-sos/.) If you would like to join me on the podcast and share your Slow Dog Movement story, please get in touch. I would love to host you! I had planned to catch up with our past co-director and friend, Jonas Thulin, for our July podcast, but we spoke for four hours (I only managed to record half of our conversation) so I will be sharing our chat over July and August. This is the August portion. Sorry, there is no introduction at the beginning, we just launch right in where we left off. This particular episode may include sensitive information that is upsetting to people who support Spanish rescue agencies or adopt Spanish dogs themselves. Jonas has his own podcast in Spain called ‘Pongamos Que Hablo de Perros’ or in English ‘Let’s Say I’m Talking About Dogs’: https://pongamosquehablodeperros.info/ (https://pongamosquehablodeperros.info/) You can also find him here: http://jonasthulin.com/en/ (http://jonasthulin.com/en/) ‘The best gift that you can give your dog is time’ is a Santos Salcines Nazabal (https://www.facebook.com/sansalcines) quote.
