Runaway Kangaroo, Clown Ban & The Meaning of Discovery

This week’s episode is a proper mix of weird headlines, random conversations, and surprisingly deep thoughts. We kick things off with the story of a runaway kangaroo on the loose, followed by the bizarre news that Bolivia has banned clowns in certain situations — a headline we never thought we’d read. From there, we dive into random news, politics, and whatever else is happening in the world, before finishing the episode with a surprisingly interesting discussion about the word “discover” — what it means, the different connotations, and how words can shape the way we think. Pop-Up Driveway Pubs, Stowaway Fox & Sports Catch-Up | Pints on Demand

This week’s episode is a proper mix of chill catch-up and absolute chaos. We start with some sports talk and life updates, getting back into the swing of things and sharing what we’ve been up to. Then we head to one of the best ideas we’ve ever heard — a mobile pub popping up in people’s driveways, bringing pints straight to your neighborhood. From there, we dive into the bizarre journey of a fox that somehow smuggled itself into the US from the UK, proving even wildlife is getting into international travel. It’s laid-back vibes, weird news, and plenty of laughs as always. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy (https://acast.com/privacy) for more information.

Coffin Meditation, Runaway Tortoise & Sports Talk | The World Gets Weird

This week’s episode takes us from the bizarre to the surprisingly impressive. We start in Japan, where people are meditating inside coffins as part of a strange spiritual practice designed to reflect on life and mortality. Then we follow the slow but determined journey of an escaped tortoise from Georgia that somehow managed to travel miles away from home. Along the way, we dive into various sports stories, share our takes on what’s happening in the sporting world, and get sidetracked with the usual tangents and laughs. It’s meditation, marathon tortoises, and a little bit of sports — all wrapped up in another strange week of news. 🎙️ Hosted on Acast.
