Host Brodie Welch, L.Ac., M.S.O.M. is a holistic self-care strategist and expert in Chinese Medicine and acupuncture who helps self-aware, Type-A women put themselves at the top of their own to-do lists so they can experience vibrant health, enjoy their lives, and evolve their consciousness -- without losing their edge. […] And it wasn't until we improved her digestion that her swimmers ear stopped. And there is a connection again on a very obvious connection between your digestion, your throat, your sinuses, and then your sinuses talk to your ear. So, They've done research on patients with Meniere's disease and they've found that yes, people with Meniere's disease tend to have a deficiency in the healthy microbiome, the healthy probiotics. And there's two ways that it can impact the ear. One is just the inflammatory. Like if you have excessive strep in your sinuses, it can aggravate and inflame your inner ear, which would increase vertigo, but also as the stomach is unhealthy, it will increase your stress hormones and your stress nervous system.
