A Kind of Centering after Narcissistic Abuse
How to Reclaim Your Sacred Path and Trust in What’s Yours Welcome to A Kind of Meadow with your host, Rhiannon Vaughn! This episode kicks off a powerful series of healing sessions tailored to overcome the trauma of narcissistic abuse. Together, we'll delve into the wounds left by these dynamics and embark on a journey to reconnect with our inner power and trust in our divine path. In this week’s episode, we tackle the belief that no matter what we create, someone can take it away. This narrative keeps us bound to fear and disconnected from our true desires. Through this healing session, we'll begin to shed the story of an unjust world and re-center ourselves in the truth that what is ours will always be ours. Releasing the Victim Narrative: We explored the victim mentality as a shared dynamic with narcissists, stemming from an external focus and lack of self-trust. Clearing Proofs of an Unjust World: We released the stories and beliefs that reinforced fear and mistrust, creating space for divine guidance to unfold. Soul Retrieval Through the Fire: We discovered how, in an attempt to protect a part of ourselves with amber’s light, we fossilized our untapped dreams and desires. We went through the fire in a beautiful Soul Retrieval experience to reconnect with our trapped selves. Playing Your Own Game: We aligned with our unique purpose in the simulation of life, focusing on our path rather than others’ expectations. Reclaiming the Heart Compass: We reconnected with dreams and desires to reorient the "heart compass," leading lives centered on our own truths rather than serving others’ paths. Plus, don’t miss our Practical Magic Segment! Create a protection amulet with amber, copal, and magical herbs like rosemary, basil, or rue. This ritual reinforces your trust in your sacred path and serves as a tangible reminder of your inner power. Whether you’re healing from narcissistic abuse or seeking to reconnect with your inner truth, this episode invites you to step into your divine alignment and reclaim your sovereignty. A Kind of Twilight with Madison Shepard - pt 2
How to Stand in the Rubble and Trust the Rebuild Welcome back to A Kind of Meadow with your host, Rhiannon Vaughn! This week, we’re continuing the conversation with the incredible actor, comedian, and writer Madison Shepard (https://madisonshepard.com/). Known for her roles in Barry & Single Drunk Female, Madison returns for a powerful discussion following her healing in Part 1, where she worked through “a tower card of a year.” In this episode, we dive into key themes of navigating loss, the tension of visibility, and embracing our sparkle, including: The Tower Card & Transformation: Madison reflects on how the destruction of old structures made way for new beginnings in her life, a reminder that renewal follows destruction. Visibility and Vulnerability: We discuss Madison’s fear of being seen in her career as an artist and how embracing visibility, even when uncomfortable, can lead to growth and connection. The Creative Fire: Madison shares the importance of letting her heart “burn” with creative intensity, using discomfort to build resilience rather than avoiding emotional challenges. Legacy Through Art: Madison resonates with the story of a girl painting in a cave, left behind by her clan, and how art has the power to transcend time even if it's not immediately recognized. Mirror Reflections: We explore the concept of surrounding yourself with people who reflect back your true essence, helping you see your potential and growth and the reality that not everyone is a good mirror--especially as a public person. If you missed Part 1 of A Kind of Twilight, I encourage you to listen to the full healing session, where Madison dives deep into themes of visibility, creative expression, and rebuilding from the rubble. The healing work we did is available for anyone who listens, inviting you to clear, release, and receive the energy of the session. Tune in to this inspiring conversation, where we explore the process of breaking down and rebuilding stronger than before. 🌙 --------------------------------- Follow Madison: @madison_shepard (https://www.instagram.com/madison_shepard/) | website (https://madisonshepard.com) Follow Rhiannon: @itsrhiannonvaughn (https://www.instagram.com/itsrhiannonvaughn) | website (https://www.rhiannonvaughn.com) Follow A Kind of Meadow: @akindofmeadow (https://www.instagram.com/akindofmeadow) | Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/themeadow) ---------------------------- If you would like to explore a healing journey of your own I would love to work with you! A Kind of Twilight with Madison Shepard - part 1
How to Embrace Your Light When Darkness Calls Welcome back to A Kind of Meadow with your host, Rhiannon Vaughn! This week, we’re joined by the incredibly talented actor, comedian, and writer Madison Shepard (https://madisonshepard.com/). Madison has graced stages alongside comedy legends and you've seen her in shows like Single Drunk Female and Barry. Today, she joins us for a deep and enlightening healing session to release what she calls “a tower card of a year that was 2023.” In this episode, we dive into: Embracing Darkness and Light: Madison takes us through a journey into the metaphorical cave, exploring her fears of being misunderstood and discovering her dazzling nature. We uncover how facing the darkness within can reveal the light that’s always been there. Past Life Healing: Madison steps into a past life as a "weird girl" painting in a cave near the Mediterranean, experiencing abandonment by her clan. This profound exploration shows how she not only survived the isolation but also transcended time by leaving her mark through her art in the cave. Vampire Symbolism and Self-Acceptance: The misunderstood vampire in Madison’s healing teaches us how embracing all parts of ourselves, even those society fears or judges, can lead to personal power and authenticity. Flow and Right Choices: Madison learns that flow is the true goal of life and that every version of herself she experiences is the result of making the right choice. This realization offers a comforting reminder to trust your path, no matter how winding it may seem. Timeline Jumping: We explore the concept of jumping between different versions of ourselves, understanding that each choice opens up a new reality. This offers a sense of peace, knowing that the version of you right now is always making the right choice. 360-Degree Reflection: We discuss the importance of surrounding ourselves with “mirrors” that reflect our true essence and how these reflections help us see the wholeness within. Chakra Clearing: We work through each of Madison's energy centers, clearing out symbols that appear, from honey coating the Crown to a wind-up doll key at the Throat. Each chakra offers its own lesson, including embracing boundaries and reclaiming one's light. Join us as we navigate themes of darkness, rebirth, and self-acceptance in this raw and magical episode. By listening, you’re invited to light up what resonates within your own energy field, allowing you to clear, release, and receive the guidance you need on your journey. Tune in and let’s embrace the twilight together. 🌙 --------------------------------- Follow Madison: @madison_shepard (https://www.instagram.com/madison_shepard/) | website (https://madisonshepard.com/) Follow Rhiannon: @itsrhiannonvaughn (https://www.instagram.com/itsrhiannonvaughn) | website (https://www.rhiannonvaughn.com) Follow A Kind of Meadow: @akindofmeadow (https://www.instagram.com/akindofmeadow) | Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/themeadow) ---------------------------- If you would like to explore a healing journey of your own I would love to work with you! How to Shatter Illusions to Reclaim Your Power with Marti Keefer In this episode of A Kind of Meadow (https://www.rhiannonvaughn.com/podcast), Rhiannon is joined by Marti Keefer, a mother, writer, model, actress, and acting / life coach. They navigate a healing journey to a Kind of Wonderland, addressing the themes of grief, releasing emotional armor, balancing external advice with inner wisdom, defining your identity on your own terms, and reclaiming personal power. What Happens in the Session: The Overnight Container: A healing space in outer space, visualized as a beautiful piece of glass art with a lush tropical jungle and crystal-clear pool where Marti spends the evening rushing down the spiral of Shadow work until she’s too exhausted to resist help from her angels anymore. Confronting Toxic People: A man who initially causes harm by poking Marti’s belly gets a kick out of knocking her down to size. It is only after he realizes he cannot hurt Marti anymore that he leaves. Unlocking the Heart Portal: Marti collects scattered memories into a single box—moments in time that had been hidden around the world to protect them from being smashed. Collecting these moments becomes the key to unlock her heart portal and reintegrate these memories. Releasing Emotional Armor: The session helps Marti release protective layers, using ticking clock of illness as a catalyst for shedding these defenses. The Black Widow: A massive Black Widow spider is removed from Marti’s solar plexus, symbolizing the transformation of exaggerated fears into a young version of herself. The Smoking Caterpillar: This figure challenges Marti to define her identity, prompting her to actively shape who she wants to be.
