Welcome to A Little Bit of Everything, a self-discovery podcast for young women navigating life, friendships, relationships, and emotional growth.
This is a space for the girls who are figuring it out in real time. The key word? Trying.
I don’t have life all figured out and that’s exactly the point. This podcast is about navigating your 20s, unpacking identity, processing emotions, and sharing honest conversations that might resonate with one, two, or even three of you.
If you’re learning, unlearning, relearning , and sometimes spiraling, you’re in the right place.
Love,
Nenye ✨
In this episode, I talked about finally being done with exams, celebrated some of the people signing out, and gave a special shout-out to Chisom, who is apparently capable of eating a whole pack of Indomie raw. Yes, RAW.
I also showed appreciation to my chamber people and congratulated all of them that signed out, and also congratulated everyone who was inducted into the medical profession. To all the new doctors, congratulations!
But you know how these things go with me. One minute, we’re celebrating achievements; the next, I’m talking about how dirty Enugu is and questioning what the government is actually doing about it.
And somehow, that conversation took me straight into the 2027 Nigerian presidential election.
I shared my thoughts on the opposition, the possibility of Peter Obi and Atiku working together, and why I think the opposition needs to consider the consequences of splitting votes. I drew an analogy from a faculty election where two women contested, divided the votes, and ultimately lost to a male candidate.
My argument? Sometimes, winning requires putting personal ambition aside for a bigger goal. But is a joint ticket the answer, and who should step down for whom? Those are questions worth discussing.
As always, I ended by appreciating everyone who listens, supports the podcast, and keeps this little corner of the internet going.
From exams and celebrations to Enugu’s sanitation and Nigeria’s political future, this episode really does have a little bit of everything.

Exams, Gratitude & One Very Unfortunate Rat
In this episode, I talked about how my exams have been going, the people who have helped me get through them and the little things that have made this whole period easier.
I took some time to appreciate my roommates, Kosi, Aunty Oge and Momcy, and gave a special shout-out to Elechukwu family for basically adopting me and making me feel like part of the family. I also had to appreciate Mumcy for the food she gave me on Sunday… which unfortunately brings me to the rat incident. Because apparently, you can make stew so good that someone comes back excited to eat it, only for a rat to fall into the pot. I was not okay.
Somewhere between the exam updates, gratitude and my very unnecessary rant about my stew, I also talked about possibly starting a Finalist Series next year when I officially become a final-year law student.
So, basically, this episode is exams, appreciation, plans for next year, food and one extremely disrespectful rat. A little bit of everything, as usual.

I Owe Some People An Apology
In the last two episodes, I said I was going to talk about giving your friends grace, apologising when you’re wrong and what it means to accept an apology. So… here we are.
This episode is probably one of the more personal ones I’ve done because I had to sit down and acknowledge some friendships where I was wrong.
I talked about friendship, betrayal, pride, miscommunication and the things that happen when you don’t give someone the grace they genuinely deserve. I shared the stories of friendships that meant a lot to me, how some of them started, the good memories we had, how things eventually fell apart and, most importantly, the parts where I know I could have done better.
I apologised to people I hurt, including for times I allowed my own perspective to make someone else look bad, made people feel insignificant, failed to communicate properly or let pride stop me from reaching out.
And these weren’t just apologies for the sake of this episode. I had already reached out to the people I was apologising to.
We also talked about something I think we sometimes get wrong about apologies: you can accept someone’s apology and still decide that you don’t want the friendship anymore. An apology doesn’t erase the hurt, and accepting one doesn’t mean you have to continue a relationship you no longer want.
Sometimes you need to give your friends grace. Sometimes you need to say sorry. And sometimes you need to accept that your actions had consequences, even if hurting someone was never your intention.
Basically, this is me choosing accountability over pride and reminding myself that being a girls’ girl starts with how you treat the girls who are already your friends.
And yes, I also apologised to the children watching because there was a lot of cussing in this episode.
Maybe we all need to learn how to say “I’m sorry” a little better.
