ATL: Don't Forget - S2 E21

Some days you move forward. Other days you stop and look at how far you’ve come. Both matter.

With school almost over, Tanner, Lina, and Micah sit on the living room floor and read through the entire Star Log — five months of messages, locations, and choices. For Micah, it’s the first time he’s heard the full story from the beginning.

From “BE READY” in a printer room to “IN MY NAME” behind a bulletin board, every entry cost them something. Standing firm cost Tanner a spot on student leadership. Peace cost him his pride. Holiness cost him a grade. But they’re still here.

Then Tanner finds something tucked behind the last page of the Log — a folded note in handwriting that isn’t theirs: “You’re ready for what’s next.”

On the walk home, they pass Mr. Henry’s house. A wooden star sits openly on his porch railing — not hidden, not tucked away. Displayed. Tanner wants to go to the door. Lina holds him back one last time: “Not yet.”

But the porch light stays on a little longer than usual.

Key Scripture

Deuteronomy 6:12 (KJV) “Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth.”

Family Discussion

• What has God done in your life that you never want to forget?

• How do you remember what God has done? Do you write it down, talk about it, or pray about it?

• Why is it important to look back before you move forward?

Big Idea: Remembering what God has done anchors you for what’s ahead.

ARK: The Power Of Remembering - S2 E24

Some memories are too important to lose.

In today's episode of ARK, we journey to the Jordan River and discover why God told His people to build a memorial of twelve stones after crossing into the Promised Land. Through cowboy stories, weather forecasts, and a powerful Bible lesson from Papa’s chair, kids learn that remembering what God has done builds faith for what He will do next.

Miss Sunshine and Benny talk about honoring heroes and remembering God’s faithfulness. Ben Breezy reports live from the overflowing Jordan River. The Rubber Bandit shares the legend of Boots the horse and a flying horseshoe. And the ARK crew reminds us that answered prayers, miracles, camp moments, and God’s presence become our own “stones of remembrance.”

This episode encourages every child listening:Don’t forget what God has done.Remember His faithfulness. And keep building your faith one memory at a time.

Verse of the WeekJames 2:19 (KJV) “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”

What Kids Will Learn

Why Joshua built memorial stones at the Jordan River

How remembering God’s faithfulness builds faith

That testimonies matter

Why Memorial Day is important

How to create their own “stones of remembrance”

Challenge of the WeekStart your own memory jar or “faith journal.” Write down prayers God answers, moments He helps you, or times you felt His presence. Then remember: the same God who helped before can help again.

ATL: It's Still Happening - S2 E20

Some weeks change the calendar. Others change the person.

At school, people are noticing something different about Micah — even if they can’t name it. A girl named Ava sits down at their lunch table uninvited and asks the question that starts everything: “What happened to you?”

Micah doesn’t preach. He just tells the truth: “Something real happened and I can’t undo it. And I don’t want to.”

On the walk home, Tanner and Lina explain what the Bible says about baptism — that every time people received the Holy Ghost in the book of Acts, they were baptized in the name of Jesus. Acts 2. Acts 8. Acts 10. Acts 19. It’s the pattern.

Micah decides. Wednesday night, he is baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins.

Afterward, they find a star behind the church foyer bulletin board. The message: “IN MY NAME.” It was already there before tonight. Whoever is placing these stars was ahead of them — again.

Micah’s Star Log entry: “I was baptized in Jesus’ name tonight. It’s real. All of it.”

Key Scripture

Acts 10:47–48 (KJV) “Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.”

Family Discussion

• The Holy Ghost and baptism in Jesus’ name happened all through the book of Acts. Do you believe it’s still happening today?

• Why is baptism in Jesus’ name important? What does it mean to you?

• Ava noticed something different about Micah before he ever said a word about God. How does your life show what you believe?

Big Idea

The gospel isn’t a history lesson — it’s a living pattern, and it’s still happening today.
