We kick off the fourth season of A Revolutionary Love Letter with a live conversation with Jan Henry Gray, author of Documents, published by BOA Editions, chosen by D.A. Powell as the winner of the Poulin Poetry Prize. Our conversation centered around the word "Chosen Family/Calderas that Hold." The live conversation took place on December 11, 2025 at the Cara a Cara Symposium: Creative and Critical Perspectives by Migrants at Rutgers University. We hope you enjoy this episode. In this week's episode, we continue our conversation with Filmmaker Set Hernandez and Pedro about their documentary film UNSEEN (2023). The story captures seven years of Pedro's life, as he navigates the U.S. soceity as a blind undocumented immigrant and aspiring social worker.
In the second part of our conversation with Set and Pedro, we turn to the DREAMer narrative and who is left out when we individualize or amplify only one kind of narrative: the able bodied, aspiring, working body.
