ORDINARY WEEK XXX: OCTOBER 26 – OCTOBER 31, 2026 (Welcoming All Saints' Day / XXXI Ordinary Sunday)

SUNDAY, 1 NOVEMBER 2026 (XXXI ORDINARY SUNDAY & FEAST OF ALL SAINTS) REVELATION 7:2-4, 9-14; Ps. 24:1-2, 3-4ab, 5-6; 1 John 3:1-3; Matt. 5:1-12a. Opening Prayer The Lord Jesus, the King of the Saints and Our Holiness Calling. We come to Your presence realizing how often we have regarded holiness as impossible, out of reach, and belonging only to a select few in the past. We often allow our souls to sink into worldly anxiety, selfishness, and comfort. Enlighten our minds and expose our inner forgetfulness today. Prepare our minds through Your Word and Your Psalms, so that at the end of this contemplation, we may be truly ready tolive the Word of Beatitudes, cast off our fears, and step joyfully toward the daily call of holiness in the midst of our mission in the world. Amen. Quotation Readings & Psalms (Feast of All Saints) First Reading: Revelation 7:2-4, 9-14 ResponsePsalm (Ps. 24:1-2, 3-4ab, 5-6): "Thisis the generation of those who seek your face, O Lord." Second Reading: 1 John 3:1-3 Gospel (Matthew 5:1-12a): "Blessed are the poor before God, for they are the inheritors of the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth... Rejoice and be glad, for great is your reward in heaven." Key Reflections Through meditation throughout the week—starting with the healing of the hunched mind, the increase of the leaven of love in the family, the prayers of the apostles, the armor of God against darkness, to the soul's thirst for the living God—our minds are prepared to enter the culmination of today's liturgical celebration: the Feast of All Saints (November 1, 2026). The Church commemorates not only the saints whose names are officially listed on the liturgical calendar, but the entire assembly of saints in Heaven—including mothers, fathers, youth, and ordinary people who have faithfully completed thecause of faith in their daily simplicity. As it is sung in Psalm 24: "Who may ascend upon the mountain of the Lord? He that is clean in his hands and pure in heart." Through the Eight Beatitudes (Matthew 5:1-12a), Jesus radically dismantled the world's definition of "happiness." The world says happiness is having wealth, power, and comfort without suffering. However, Jesus affirms that truehappiness and holiness are born out of spiritual poverty (total dependence on God), meekness, purity of heart, the need to uphold justice, and the courage to be a peacemaker. Holiness is not flawless perfection from birth, but the courage to rise every fall, surrender our fragility to the mercy of God, and live the Beatitudes in daily acts of love. Being a "Companion in Order" (Focused Life) means thatwe realize that our true homeland is Heaven, and that every step of our mission on earth is a pilgrimage to the eternal communion of the saints.

Pekan Biasa 30 dan Minggu Biasa 31 - HARI RAYA SEMUA ORANG KUDUS

ZIARAH BATIN: SAHABAT DALAM PERUTUSAN PEKAN BIASA XXX: 26 OKTOBER – 31 OKTOBER 2026 (Menyongsong Hari Raya Semua Orang Kudus / Hari Minggu Biasa XXXI) Bacaan I: Why. 7:2-4, 9-14 Mazmur Tanggapan (Mzm. 24:1-2, 3-4ab, 5-6): "Itulah angkatan orang-orang yang mencari wajah-Mu, ya Tuhan."
