<p>26th June 2026 marks 30 years since the Nintendo 64 launched in Japan, and Alex went so mad with the pod format for one of his seminal console that we've had to cut the pod into two parts! </p><p>We're taking you on a journey through every year of the console's life cycle (including some bonus prerequisite pre-release chat) from 1996-2001, with the key developments and news, plus our thoughts on the key games. </p><p>We'll culminate the pod in the very near future with the same for 2000-2001, and finish everything off with our own personal top 10 games lists.
