"We imagine that a knowledge worker is efficient and productive only when sitting at a computer or in a meeting. Staring out the window, taking a walk, or napping during the workday seems lazy to us—or at least it sounds like something completely impossible to do.”
Psychologist Mona Moisala suggests that knowledge workers should hear what neuroscience has to say and give up the detrimental demands of our seemingly efficient ways of working. In the article, Moisala interprets research findings that, if implemented, could enhance employees' well-being and boost their productivity.
