In this episode: Jesper Skibsby, CEO & Founder, WARM, World Airplay Radio Monitor In 2012, after hearing his artists songs on the radio in Poland, Jesper Skibsby noted how he couldn’t find any truthful or accessible data provider that could validate this information for his band. And so the story begins, Jesper found himself questioning the lack of transparency in the music industry and the way they make it difficult for music creators to access their airplay data. As a music entrepreneur, Jesper was motivated to find a proper solution to eliminate this barrier. It was only a matter of time until he got himself immersed in research and key conversations which made him realize a major opportunity that could shake up the music industry. And so, the project we know today as (Denmark based) WARM saw an open door to get started, now monitoring tens of thousands of radio stations across the world in more than 160 countries.

After starting her career at Hired, Inc., where she was a Senior Sales Manager, before moving to JOOR, as Director of Sales & Accounts for the West Coast. In 2017, Kristin joined Stem as the VP of Artist Relations, a platform used by the likes of Cheryl Crow, LANY, Frank Ocean, MGMT, Tiffany Hadsish. Now President, Kristin is responsible for the company's overall strategy and growth, facilitaing RIAA platinum and gold certifications and leading the team that manages platform relationships directly with Spotify and Apple. Kristin is now face-to-face with the musicians and labels that use Stem. She has implemented initiatives such as Stem Direct and Stem Scale, improving artist relations, playlist placements and artist funding. Under her leadership, Stem has become one of the most innovative and successful companies in the industry and an advocate for artists keeping control over their work.
