A Message From Abandon Quest
Hey, everybody. Given the current climate, we do not feel right releasing an episode this week. Instead, Abandon Quest will be making a $300 donation to Black Lives Matter. In brief, we stand with the protestors, and support the call to reform. In the show notes, you’ll find the links to several charities that we’ll be updating as time goes on, as well as petitions and educational resources if you’re unable to donate financially. We’ve also provided a link to RPGcasts.com, a website that highlights other actual play podcasts featuring players and game masters that are Black, Indigenous, Mixed Race, and/or People of Color. Thank you for listening, and from all of us at Abandon Quest, don’t give up.
This week, join world renown author Volothamp Geddarm as he walks you through history, exploring the cataclysms that nearly wiped Waterdeep (and all magic in existence) off the map.

This is going live at the same time as Episode 0, which largely accomplishes the same thing, so if you’d rather jump right into the narrative, feel free to skip this. Otherwise, enjoy getting to know our players!
