We’ll be continuing our series in First Samuel. To bring you up to speed, David is on the run from King Saul, who is trying to kill him! And he finds himself in a cave! Pastor Ed is going to relate this to our cave-like experiences, and reveal how God often uses them to develop us into the person He wants us to be.

The Cave and the Cross Part 1
Can you look back on your life and see how God used very difficult circumstances to help you grow and develop? We’d prefer not to go through those cave-like experiences, but the truth is, it’s often how we grow into the person God wants us to be. Today on Abounding Grace we find the future King of Israel on the run and in a cave! Pastor Ed Taylor will make the connection to how God shapes and molds us through trials and tribulations.

God is Not Finished with You Part 2
Since we all fail from time to time, it becomes necessary for us to learn from those experiences, and respond appropriately after it happens. As we continue our study of First Samuel today on Abounding Grace, we find David in an embarrassing situation. Though he fails miserably, he learned from it, and God granted Him well over 40 years of ministry after the incident.
