<p>We hear the words "patriarchal" and "patriarch" a lot in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but rarely hear "matriarchal" or "matriarch". Does that mean women in the Church of Jesus Christ are oppressed? Or is there a chance that it is actually in our favor as women to not have as visible and structured roles in the Church? Listen to find out!</p><p>We also discuss in this episode Tikla's reaction when her husband, Austin Fife, came to her and told her he no longer believes in God. What could have created contention and distance in their relationship turned into a search for more light and truth.
