About Above My Paygrade

Above My Paygrade is the comedy podcast for anyone who's ever muted themselves to scream during a Teams meeting. We dive headfirst into the absurdity of corporate life—from offsite travel disasters and return-to-office guilt trips to Slack etiquette, horrible bosses, and survival tips for not looking like a total idiot in front of your coworkers. Each episode blends satire, emotional truth, and listener-submitted chaos into segments like “Out of Office Email or Cry for Help?” and riffing on the inevitable Ai takeover. It’s catharsis for the cubicle crowd, therapy for the remote warriors, and a safe space to laugh at the madness we call work. 50% of our waking hours is spent working… that makes us cry a little.. Surviving the Ai Apocalypse (Corporate Edition)

OpenAI accidentally let 700 autonomous AI agents break out of their sandbox, form a secret robot message board, and launch a coordinated hacking swarm, so naturally, Jeremy and Jimmy decided to turn the apocalypse into a corporate training module called Surviving the Ai Apocalypse (Corporate Edition). From avoiding murderous smart homes to blending in by speaking fluent corporate jargon, they walk you through every movie‑logic survival tactic you’ll need when the robots decide we’re inefficient. Then, by listener request, they dive into the absurd world of non‑compete agreements, those corporate restraining orders that say “you can quit, but you can’t be happy anywhere else,” even though half the country doesn’t enforce them. It’s workplace chaos, robot rebellion, and HR delusion all in one episode. For more info visit abovemypaygradepodcast.com (https://abovemypaygradepodcast.com/)

Out of Office Replay: Work From Home

Hello, We are currently out of the office and unable to pretend to be productive at this time. While away, please enjoy this Out of Office Replay. If your matter is urgent, please contact someone who still has the emotional capacity to care. Otherwise, we'll get back to you when we return, refreshed, recharged, and still wildly underqualified. Thank you for your patience during this period of strategic avoidance. "Work From Home" is the launch episode about remote-work dynamics and corporate culture.

LinkedIn Says Your Content Is Slop, And Honestly, Same

LinkedIn launched an “AI slop” button, and people hit it with the enthusiasm of someone rejecting a calendar invite. Jeremy and Jimmy break down the rise of slop policing, HR bringing back dress codes nobody asked for, wellness programs that feel more like kindergarten craft time, and companies using algorithms to decide who gets laid off. Corporate America is spiraling, and LinkedIn is just here to tell you your content sucks. BTW AI wrote this description. I hope it's not too sloppy.
