The Oblong Boys: Better than the Beatles (and Way More Zolo)
"Life is Meaningless," said The Oblong Boys, Austin's weirdest and most zolo band ever. In this episode, I talked to Oblong A, Mr. E, Pat A. Physics, and Lockemup about how The Oblong Boys were spawned, the concepts behind their unique brand of music and performance, and their late night guerrilla escapades.
Think DEVO meets the Residents meets Frank Zappa in a hypercolor Yellow Magic Orchestra mega blender full of Sparks. Here's to The Oblong Boys!

Freewriting for the Grieving wEirDo
What is freewriting and how can you benefit from it? Does it help with grief? In this episode, host Ben Aqua discusses how freewriting influenced his grieving process after experiencing a profound loss and becoming a young widow. Ben also recites a few whimsically intimate, bizarre pieces from his freewriting journal. Let's add some Absolutely Nonsensical sunshine to that gritty brainstorm cloud.
