177. From $30K Debt to Off the Salon Floor: Shelby Garcia Salon Business Transformation
Welcome Queen,
Two years ago, Shelby joined me on the podcast and shared what life really looked like behind the scenes of being a salon owner, wife and mum of two.
At her lowest point, the salon was on the market, she had $30K in tax debt and she genuinely didn't know how she was going to turn things around.
Fast-forward two years and I almost don't recognise the woman sitting across from me.
Shelby is now completely off the salon floor,
her salon numbers have actually grown, she's leading and developing her team,
she has more freedom with her children AND she's building a second business and income stream alongside the salon.
And the biggest transformation hasn't just been financial.
It's been who she's had to become as a woman and leader to create it.
In this very honest conversation, we unpack the beliefs Shelby had to break around making money without physically servicing clients, navigating staff changes without scarcity, motherhood and business-owner guilt, developing her leadership and learning to back herself when other people didn't understand her decisions.
