: It is with the greatest pleasure that was welcome my dear friend Brandon Cortes @brandonmatthewcortes to the crib for this episode of A.T.P!
As a supporter of Accordingly! He has gone above and beyond in his support of not only my dreams for myself, but the dream that this podcast will someday make waves in the entertainment industry. And with that, there is no one else I'd want on the journey and by my side!
Brandon Matthew Cortez is my guest on today's episode and he is a very busy guy who is very grateful for
all the opportunities that have come his way recently. As we congratulate his newest achievement in signing with none other that MMG management, we shall also dive into the discussions of life after a journey in weightless and heath consciousness, our college experience together and how we met with my helping Brandon feel less daunted on his arrival to The Academy, simply by providing the dynamic that we're all in this together and that we can make great relationships during and after the Academy. We're also exploring the intimidating balance of navigating "Imposter Syndrome," once you've started to climb the industries success ladder. Being grateful for the people in our lives who have helped us keep our dreams alive. And how burnout syndrome is increasingly exhausting with age and harder to push past, but you can still maintain your creativity by balancing your daily tasks and choosing healthy ways to expand our time productively.

Episode 0104: We're back to work kiddos!
Summary - Podcast: This is the year. Motivation Mantra: Everything's going to be good in my life.
Keep your eyes forward," Be bold but be Kind." - Kathleen's cycle of positivity is looking up, she has been back in the gym, is traveling soon, and is trying to get herself in a headspace for her goals. The winter blues here in New York City has been a weird one, but I feel good today because Spring is a' coming. I'm excited to start working on this first season of the podcast and bring on some special guests.
Talking about commitment to my mental health and my goals for the year 2023 motivates me to work harder towards accomplishing them!

Episode 0103: The TRUTH about my own self-discovery!
Use better judgement before speaking.
: " I processed a lot of my thoughts and feelings by myself when I was feeling isolated and alone. I knew I wanted to be a good person, and I want to do my best to help other people.: I found myself, when I found myself all alone, and was starting to lose my mind. I was trying to find a way to cope with all of that by reading, researching, and writing." - Ms. Kathleen shares her definition of self-discovery and how it was both voluntary and scary. She also talks about the first time she reflected on her character, coming at a very pivotal moment in her life. She shares that the journey has been unexpected and comes at a place where she is most unprepared.
Stay tuned for episode three, where we will discuss her journey so far with self-discovery!
In this episode, we talked about self-discovery and how it's continuing to shape who we are as people. We also talked about how to stay positive and persevere through obstacles, especially when it comes to self-discovery. And finally, we talked about black history month and some of the amazing accomplishments of some of our favorite people of color. Drop a like if you don't know who Miss Cicely Tyson is and get educated about one of America's most brilliant actors. In this quote, Miss Cicely Tyson talks about her memoir, Just as I Am, and how it makes me love her 15 times more. And if you haven't read it, I definitely recommend you do so. It's a beautiful memoir that's also narrated by Viola Davis.

Plenty of fish: trying to stay afloat in love.
Summary
Miss Kathleen would like to wish you all a very happy Valentine’s Day!
She’s found herself to be a picky dater because of the examples of love that she’s seen in her life, and knowing that, she’s willing to wait for something better to come her way.
In this episode, Miss Kathleen will talk about her inspiration behind love, starting from the very beginning with her parents, and seeing the pain and devastation that her mother went through after her father’s unexpected passing. This taught her that regardless of what happens on Valentine’s Day or any day that we’re celebrating love, we can embrace the love within ourselves and within each other.
Learning to lean on your self-love and wait to be loved in return. Knowing that you are loved already and the love you desire will come to you in it’s on time and in it’s on the way. We all have to be emotionally responsible for ourselves and our relationships. We’re not always going to find someone who makes our life easier by filling out a bio all about themselves online, and we’re not going to find someone who will support us when we needed it the most. At the end of the day we have to be the ones who are going to work for love and care for one another. My mom’s greatest love was with a man that she never thought she would love, and in him, she found the one—it may not have been for forever, but the love was potent enough, because it was so unconditional, that it lasted well beyond the short time they had and I believe that their love story is a truly beautiful one because it is a story of acceptance and freedom in valuing yourself before you give value to the other person, and I think that their relationship is something that we can all learn from.
25 years later, I’m still figuring out what that version of love is for me. But I haven’t given up yet, and I’m more than willing to swim with the fishes until I find the one that I’m ready to cast my bait for.

Salutations, and Welcome to Accordingly!
Accordingly!
This Is the podcast where I use my own empathy, open opinions, and knowledge about life, as I’ve lived it so far, to try and help and guide others closer together. Especially those of us who are in the in-between of the Millennials and the Gen-zers or what I like to call the “Millen-Ziers”!
My only hope is that my attitude towards life, big personality and sisterly approach can really make a dent in this generations outlook on self-growth, and accepting that the overall struggles of life, …that we all will inevitably face, can be much harder to process alone, but it can also be achievable with the right perspective and a friend like me by your side.
I’m so excited for to opportunity to blend my ability to have meaningful conversations with my love of entertainment, not only just to create a name and a brand for myself, but to be apart of building a community that unites multiple communities under one common thing “we are all just trying to do our best, Accordingly.”
