To me, I think the most important thing is just to listen before you jump in head first. My experience in an interdisciplinary team is primarily in the primary care realm. If you're in this setting, it's really easy to come in ready to go with a lot of ideas on the disease states you can manage and how to run your practice. But to establish good relationships with your team, you really have to slow down, listen, and determine what you can do to help the existing operations. […]
