Ace of Clubs: Author's Note + Chp. 1
Running a professional sports franchise is the dream of many, but the nightmare of some. For one American playboy named Cain Shaw, fantasy is clashing with reality.
While everyone occasionally feels like their world is being torn apart at the seams, the stakes for Cain, the reluctant owner of Westminster Football Club, are a bit higher. And his problems are anything but average.
After a scandalous photo surfaces on Page Six, revealing Cain's sordid relationship with the former manager's daughter, all hell breaks loose. Add to that Westminster tumbling down to the second division in England. Cain has to pick up the pieces, not only of his own life, but of the family business.
If he fails, everyone could lose their job. If he succeeds, he just might redeem himself and the Club. Will he succeed or will others pay the price for his transgressions? Author Sean Armstrong scores a screamer with his debut novel, Ace of Clubs.
