Welcome back to Acting On It — Season 2 is here.
After taking the summer off, I’m coming back with a different perspective on what it means to pursue a creative career at your own pace.
In this episode, I’m talking honestly about the guilt of feeling like you’re not doing enough, comparing your timeline to everyone else’s, and the fear that slowing down somehow means you’re falling behind.
I’m also getting clear about what Acting On It is really about.
This isn’t a podcast that’s going to tell you to “get over yourself” or pretend that chasing a dream is as simple as just going for it. I want to talk about what happens before the “just do it”—the fear, procrastination, jealousy, rejection, insecurity, and mental battles that can make pursuing something you love incredibly difficult.
Because acting on it doesn’t mean you’re fearless.
It means you can be scared, uncertain, and questioning yourself—and choose to do it anyway.
If you’re somewhere in the messy middle, still figuring it out while trying to build the life and career you want, this season is for you.
It can be hard, and you can still do it.
Welcome to Season 2. 🤎

You're Not the Only One
Before taking a short break for the summer, I'm reflecting on everything this season of Acting On It has meant to me.
Through conversations with actors, artists, and creatives, I've been reminded that none of us are alone in our fears, doubts, setbacks, or dreams. This episode is a thank-you to every guest who showed up authentically, every listener who joined the conversation, and the community we've built together through honesty and vulnerability.
I'll be back in the fall with a brand-new season. Until then, thank you for being here.

From Venezuela to New York- When you just know
In this episode, Betty and I talk about the powerful feeling of just knowing—knowing who you are, what you’re meant to do, and where life is pulling you before it arrives.
Betty shares how she always knew she would move to New York and how that certainty stayed with her through every chapter of the journey. We also talk about the internal challenges that come with pursuing that path—anxiety, self-image, fear, and doing the work to move through those struggles in order to feel free in yourself and in your art.
A beautiful conversation about trusting your instincts, facing your inner battles, and giving yourself permission to fully take up space.
