Coded musical queues! What are the powers of a Siren? Are they immortal? Scobby Doo rules apply to all teenagers, if they leave the room they are going to bang. And finally, a very important update: Alison still hasn’t watched Barry!!!

A major bomb is dropped in this episode about a new member of the So Weird family. Carlos sings! Is EVD leaving the show?!? We speculate wildly. We get into the absolute GALL of Squatch, child endangerment, car problems, taking the driving test, and our WORST green screen so far! Mackenzie Phillips over Ryan Gosling any day, all day. Shoutout to @UCSantaCruz and don't forget to edit that Wiki for Paul Lynch, Sweirdos!

Bonus: Brink!
Surprise! It’s time to dive in to Lords of Dogtown..For Tweens! We’re back with guests (Alexis Gay from way back in the day, and Michelle Morales from well...now!) We dive into our DCOM love and explore Alexis’ never-ending, abiding love of EVD (despite how much of a sociopath Brink can be). We talk about how Gabriela is the REAL hero of the movie (and Brink should not get off that easy…) and imagine the sequel set 20 years later, starring Brink and Val’s daughter...also wtf this was based off of a novel from 1865???!!

Season 1 Episode 13 - Switchfootfan45
We review the final episode of this season with a special guest (Vivian Nguyen) in a haunted hospital! Listen as our guest guides us through the spirit world and we talk about whatever a Will-o'-the-wisp is, pool sharks, ghost hunting, and we still don’t know Gorb’s name (and we never will!). We learn that being Scottish apparently looks the same as being super high and that plain bagels are the food of the gods for fairies! This episode establishes that the spirit world is after our heroine, but will Henry Winkler stop with the offensive accents, and will Rupaul go for our ghost hunting show pitch ( The Ultimate Death Drop: Now available on itunes)? We will have to check back next season for these answers and more! Stay tuned for a special BONUS ghost hunt episode where we explore some secret rooms in the spooky hospital and really push our guest’s patience to the limits!
Vivian LOVES the supernatural and when she’s not fantasizing about Sasquatch or Christian rock you can catch her performing with Endgame’s Harold team, Classic Diane!

Season 1 Episode 12 - Schrodinger's Stoner
What’s up Cyber-Weenies, it’s Astral Projection v2! No, not really, it’s just a lady in a coma talking through the internet. At the very least, our boys Clu and Jack discover their true calling as hackey sack artists and we discover the power of wingdings! Fiona solves a mystery using the most boring computer game we’ve ever seen. We get the feeling Winkler stiffed Erik on this one cause this ep was definitely poised for a Matrix-style cyberspace romp. Alison gives us another BuffyBuffs update! Also tweet at us about car stuff cause we LOVE it!

Season 1 Episode 11 - Singularity
Fiona enters a time warp as moral dilemmas about science almost drive Carlos and Alison apart as we share our sports horror stories. Kingdom Hearts and Groundhog’s Day time travel rules mess with our heads. We discussed “Who’s Cancelled?” and dunk on Bill Murray, prove me wrong on Bill Murray (but Not Chevy Chase). Also, why the hell are there so many Frasier fans?

Season 1 Episode 9 - 13 Going On 40
Molly finally gets her own episode- but at what cost?! Welcome to the first episode of the preeminent Animorphs podcast, Fanimorphs! Welcome also to the preeminent Alison explaining Buffy podcast, Buf-fans! Also in this episode we discuss fancy man accents, spoon fed plot, diabetes conspiracies, and grandmas using fax machines. So Weird gets real! We also learn a great way to look smart is to rattle off some Etruscan. Fi ruins everything! Parents are dumb! This episode is really sad. We pitch our idea for the sequel to the American classic, 13 Going On 30. Is Henry Winkler immortal from buying young blood? Do we talk about the ecological implications of immortality as well as Paul Rudd? Did we just rhyme on accident??? Listen to find out.

Fear, Love, and Strangeling. That’s all life really boils down to. We also learn that sometimes Fiona is a non-believer, correct spellbook due diligence from Carlos, how to raise a preteen pokemon, the bullshit lack of magical cost in Harry Potter, that cops in hell eat frittatas, and Alison gets Winklered™! What are cop sticks? Will these kids ever do their homework? Why are Alison and Carlos trying to get #DownWithDreamworks off the ground? Listen and learn.

In this very special episode, Carlos and Alison have their first very guest (Alexis Gay) who reveals their suicide pact and that she was NOT touched by this angel. Season 1 Episode 5 - ASStral Projection
Amateur hour in the So Weird writer’s room rears its ugly head in this episode. A teen uses her powers in the dumbest way possible while Jack and Clu’s hormones reveal them into creeps. Squatch’s homeschooling is called in to question, a librarian wrestles with their internal code, and Alison has very strong opinions on hairstyles and the use of gum as a prop. So much dismay.
