Martin is a dry British guy with ADHD. Amy is a New Yorker who notices everything, and feels most of it a little too intensely. Together, they're trying to make sense of neurodivergence, human behavior, and whatever else sends them down a conversational rabbit hole that week.
This isn't a self-help podcast. There's no formula, no life hacks, and definitely no one-size-fits-all advice. Think of us as two friends on a park bench, having honest, unfiltered conversations about the things that make them think: "Wait… is it just me, or did you notice that too?"
From weird brain stuff, friendships and relationships to social anxiety, everyday frustrations, TV obsessions, and the unexpected challenges of navigating life with brains that experience the world differently, no topic is too serious, silly, or random.
Expect personal stories. Expect tangents (because brain). And expect to leave feeling a little less alone in your own beautifully weird brain.
Think of us as your park bench: a place to hang out, swap stories, laugh at the chaos, and know you're seen—even on the hard days.
Disclaimer: We're not doctors or therapists. We're just two people comparing operating manuals for brains that didn't come with one.
For entertainment and connection only.

This week, Martin and Amy dive into a surprisingly deep (and hilarious) rabbit hole: Do you look like your name? Amy's got feelings about being a "boring" Amy, Martin explains why British Martins and American Martins feel a different vibe to him, and somehow we end up talking about the Bouba/Kiki effect, whether Garys are identifiable by photograph, and why your name might be a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Plus:
* 🍂 Amy's emotional support ghost mug makes an appearance
* 🍰 Amy goes FULL RANT about the Nigella Lawson Great British Baking Show controversy (and we are HERE for it)
* 🚶♀️ Christine's "Am I Being Unreasonable?" about sidewalk-blocking tourists gets us both fired up
* 🐔 Deputy Mayor Alexandra's chicken research continues to impress
* 👻 We say "wink" way too many times

S2:Ep4 - Do Chicken's Think You're Hot?
Welcome back to ADHDville, where the distractions are landmarks and the detours are the main roads. This week, Martin and Amy ask the important questions: Do chickens think you're hot? Would you bare-hand a distressed starling like a Nerf ball and put it in a cab? And is it unreasonable to leave a plastic middle finger on the sink instead of starting a fight?
Martin dives into research that says chickens may find the same human faces attractive that we do—because apparently attraction is lurking somewhere deep in the nervous system, even if you're a bird. Amy shares a highly sensitive bird rescue saga involving a Midtown office window, a wildlife hotline, and a cab request she absolutely did not fulfil. Martin's mum once raised a baby bird, released it, and… let's just say the family dog handled the rest.
Then it's time for Are You Being Unreasonable? We talk wet sponges, sink splatter, cereal bags torn open like a savage, plate boundaries, and why "you left crumbs" should not be translated as "you hate me." Plus, Amy's obsession of the week is Trader Joe's butternut squash lasagna, and Martin is deep into The Traitors.
ADHDville is out every tuesday for beautifully weird people.

S2:Ep3 - Personal Space Invaders & Urinal Etiquette: Am I Being Unreasonable?
Ever had someone stand SO close to you in line that you can smell their lunch? Same. 😅
In this episode of ADHDville, Martin and Amy are diving into the invisible bubble we all carry around—and what happens when someone pops it. From the cinema creeper who sits right next to you in an empty theater (WHY?!) to the science behind why men can't pee next to each other, we're covering it all.
Plus, Amy reveals her ultimate public bathroom survival strategy (spoiler: it involves a toilet paper nest), Martin explains the unwritten rules of urinal selection, and we play a round of "Am I Being Unreasonable?" about the simple act of saying thank you.
Also: Deputy Mayor Alexandra gets a shoutout, Amy's mom drops some wisdom on TikTok, and we discuss why kids seem to need a bigger bubble than teenagers. Science!
New episodes every Tuesday. 💛
