Ep 05: The Others (2001): Ghosts, Gaslighting, & Gorgeous Curtains
This week, the Adore Horror crew watches The Others (2001) - the iconic film where Nicole Kidman is not okay, the kids can't go in the sun, and every door must be locked at all times (for... reasons).
We break down the creepy vibes, the twist you maybe saw coming (or didn’t!), and ask the real questions: Is it a ghost story? A period drama? A warning about letting your kids read too much Bible?
Three friends. One creepy movie. Infinite chaotic energy.

Adore Horror Short Ep 04: Jakeskin
Welcome to another episode of Adore Horror Shorts, where we mix spooky with a sprinkle of chaos! In this episode, we ask the real questions: Are you superstitious, or just a little ‘sitious’? And what’s your serial killer trait? (If you chew with your mouth open, congratulations, you’re someone’s villain origin story.)
Then, we bring you three terrifying tales of love, romance, and… well, absolute horror:
💀 I thought my new boyfriend was a great catch—until I met his parents: Vegan? Practically grass-fed.
🌹 My wife said I wasn’t romantic enough… so I pulled out all the stops: A night of romance reveals a shocking secret and an excellent joke.
🐶 And then there’s Buddy: You really do need to take better care of him.
So grab a snack, turn off the lights (or don’t, we won’t judge), and prepare for laughs, gasps, and mild emotional damage. 🎙️👻🔪😂

Ep 02: Terrifier: Breaking Down Art the Clown’s Brutal (and Hilarious?) Debut
👻 Grab your popcorn (and maybe a barf bag) because this week, we’re diving into the twisted, blood-soaked world of Terrifier! Join us as we break down the 2016 cult hit that introduced us to one of the most terrifying (and oddly fashionable?) slashers: Art the Clown.
We’ll be discussing the film’s insane kills, its eerie low-budget charm, and whether Damien Leone’s creation truly lives up to the hype. Is Terrifier just gore for gore’s sake, or is there something deeper lurking behind Art’s sinister smile?

Adore Horror Short Ep 01: Something Strange Snuck in the Attic
👻 Gather ‘round, horror lovers! In this bite-sized episode, we’re serving up a trio of spine-tingling short stories guaranteed to make you check under the bed (and maybe the attic, too?):
👁️ 🔦 Something Strange Snuck in the Attic (read by Trista) – A bat in hand, a stranger in the attic, and a deadly twist you didn’t see coming 😱
🏕️🌲 The Cabin (read by Jordanna) – Lost in the woods, he found shelter—but the cabin wasn’t as picturesque as it seemed 🖼️

Ep 01: All Hallows' Eve: The Origin of Art the Clown (and Our Nightmares)
🎃 Before Terrifier, before the cult following, there was All Hallows’ Eve—the 2013 indie horror anthology that first introduced us to the silent but sadistic Art the Clown. This week, we’re taking it back to where the madness began, reviewing Damien Leone’s terrifying (and totally unhinged) debut film.
We’ll be discussing the film’s eerie VHS aesthetic, its mix of supernatural and slasher horror, and, of course, whether Art was just as disturbing in his first outing. Is All Hallows’ Eve an underrated Halloween gem, or does it feel like a rough draft for Terrifier? And what’s scarier—the actual movie or the thought of watching an unknown VHS tape left in your house?
As always, we’re keeping it fun with plenty of laughs, unfiltered reactions, and probably way too many clown jokes. So grab your candy, lock your doors, and tune in—because Art the Clown is waiting. 🎈🔪
