About Adulthood Pending

🔋 Running on 30%. Still showing up. 🎓 ADHP: Adulthood Pending is a comedy show hosted by Zaga and Nick, now operating inside ADHP University. Expect real stories, ridiculous lessons, faculty arguments, questionable theories, bad advice, and two professors who are still very much Adulthood Pending. 📚 New episodes Saturdays. 🎓 The 30%ers are the Student Body. 🔋 Running on 30%. Full Frontal Nerdity 301: When Your Hobby Becomes Your Entire Personality

Short Story Long...... At what point does “I like this” become “apparently this is who I am now”? Professor Zaga, Professor Nick, and Dr. Copper are taking Full Frontal Nerdity 301, where the lesson is simple: how do you stop hiding the thing you love without becoming the person everybody regrets asking about it? This class gets into hyper fixations, fandoms, cosplay, ridiculously expensive collectibles, deep-dive research, conventions, tattoos, gaming, wrestling, Marvel, Warhammer, Star Wars, record collecting and the exact moment somebody probably needs to take away your credit card. We get into: • The things we absolutely cannot talk about like normal people • When a casual interest becomes a full-blown obsession • Zaga’s $600 WWE championship belt • Copper’s Titanfall 2 collector’s helmet and gaming collection • Nick’s Deadpool cosplay and Kingdom Hearts obsession • What actually makes somebody a nerd • The official nerd scale: Casual → Fan → Nerd → Full Frontal → TAKE AWAY THE CREDIT CARD • Mac Miller records and Zaga discovering another expensive hobby • The weird subjects each of us knows way too much about • Student Body answers about their own Full Frontal Nerdity Zaga also talks about seeing Filipino culture and folklore represented on the big screen, Copper gets punished for showing up late, and the faculty somehow spends an unreasonable amount of time finding new names for Dr. Copper. The Irish Goodbye: How to Escape the 45-Minute Goodbye | ADHP S2E13

Your social battery hit zero. Unfortunately, somebody just said “before you go…” and now apparently you live here. ADHP University is officially in session, and our first online class is Irish Goodbye 102: how to leave a party without accidentally unlocking another 45-minute event. Professor Nick considers himself something of an Irish-goodbye surgeon. Professor Zaga has questions. Together, we're breaking down why announcing “I'm leaving” somehow restarts the entire night, the traps waiting between you and the front door, and how to disappear from a party without creating an international incident. We also somehow get into: Nick explaining why the entire point of an Irish goodbye is NOT announcing it. Coat check, “before you go…,” family guilt, partners who won't stop talking and every other obstacle standing between you and freedom. The fake-phone-call escape strategy. Why “I'm about to shit my pants” has apparently become advanced ADHP coursework. Why escaping a Filipino family goodbye requires significantly more planning. Leaving your ride behind because they ignored the agreed-upon departure time. Why “one more drink” may be the most dangerous sentence at a party. The different Irish-goodbye personalities: The Nicky, The Midwestern, The Copper Out, The Zaga, The Magician and more. Whether you can disappear from weddings, birthday dinners, work happy hours, first dates and somebody else's house. Why “I'm tired” and “I'm overstimulated” are complete explanations. And the official rules of the perfect exit: Have a plan. Don't be messy. Stop asking permission to leave. Professor Zaga. Professor Nick. One exit door. Let's see if the Student Body actually makes it out. Running on 30%. Still showing up. We Started a University and Somehow We're Professors | ADHP S2E12

Short story long... somehow we're professors now. ADHP University is officially opening its doors, which feels completely responsible considering one of us never went to college and the other dropped out twice. This week, Zaga and Nick have one last Faculty Lounge session before classes officially take over ADHP. We're figuring out exactly how an unaccredited comedy university run by adults operating at roughly 30% is supposed to work, why the 30%ers are now the Student Body, what Professor Zaga and Professor Nick are actually qualified to teach, and whether putting ADHP University on your résumé is an objectively terrible decision. Spoiler: we'll still be your references. We also somehow get into: Nick's serial-killer voicemail finally getting called out by his actual boss. Why 2000s ringback tones desperately need to return. The first ADHP University lesson: how to look like you know what you're doing when you absolutely do not. Why confidently using fake acronyms may be one of adulthood's greatest social hacks. Nick admitting he's never actually been to college. Chaz the Chaos Gremlin becoming the official school mascot. An alarming amount of Burger King and Dragon Ball analysis. The sentence “women are hot and they scare me.” A potential Professor Nick lecture involving pasties and a championship belt. And planning Nick's upcoming New York, Comic-Con and Salem field trip, which has somehow become Friends, Guinness, White Castle, chopped cheese, bagels, hot dogs, Blackcraft and Annabelle. This is the last episode before the classroom officially takes over. Professor Zaga. Professor Nick. The Student Body. What could possibly go wrong? Running on 30%. Still showing up.
