Africans Behind Bars

About Africans Behind Bars

The purpose of this podcast is to allow Africans imprisoned in the U.S.A to tell their story. This is a documentary-style podcast that shares the firsthand stories of Africans who were extradited to the United States and are serving or have served prison sentences. Each episode explores the person behind the conviction—their childhood, dreams, journey to America, the events that changed their lives, the extradition process, the U.S. justice system, and the realities of life behind bars.
