BLACK TORCH Recaps | The Choice Is Yours
In this episode of After Hours Arc, join me in our second recap for BLACK TORCH!
This episode was packed with not so much action, but instead it gave me so many questions!
From Ichika's demeanour and the backstory I'm hoping explains it all, Jiro's wild escape and we even find out Gramps has a deep connection with the Bureau of Espionage.
Being two episodes in, this has definitely been a slow burn type of reveal and I'm absolutely here it! I'm so happy we are recapping this series this Summer Season!
I also hint at the twitch vibe I've been building, but you can catch that in the next Vibe Check I record.

BLACK TORCH Recaps | Season Premiere
In this episode of After Hours Arc, join me in starting our Summer recaps off right! BLACK TORCH is here and I think it was a fantastic first episode!
I walk us through the season premiere, giving my takes and reactions from my manga-free POV. Going into this anime blind the only things I knew was it was about a teenager Shinobi, who could talk to animals and that it was like a supernatural thriller.
I share my excitement about our main characters Jiro and our new but questionable feline friend Rago who’s not what I was expecting at all.
From an intense battle with a Mononoke to getting ambushed by the Bureau of Espionage and all the amazing and artistic animation that literally exceeding any expectations I could have had.
Here is the YouTube reaction if you want the visual element I’ve added
