I AM A MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCATE SINCE SUICIDE TOOK MY SON ON DEC 27, 2014; IT IS A DISEASE JUST LIKE CANCER. A TSUNAMI HIT ME THAT FATEFUL DAY, AND MY LIFE HAS NEVER BEEN THE SAME. In my book, "OVERCOMING A LIFE DESTROYED- THE DEVASTATING IMPACT OF MENTAL ILLNESS, HOW IT TOOK MY SONS LIFE AND ALMOST MINE" I SPEAK ABOUT SIGNS OF DEPRESSION IN CHILDREN, MY SPIRAL INTO HELL AND HOW I SURVIVED WHEN I WANTED TO DIE. I GIVE ADVICE FROM MY EXPERIENCES THAT I HOPE CAN HELP OTHERS. ALL OF THE PROCEEDS FROM MY BOOK GO TO THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT AND TUNNEL 2 TOWERS.
