But dairy farmers are moving fast. She's acknowledged that, and Chekhov has had to help keep up with that pace. She wants DMI to be at the bleeding edge, looking into dark corners for innovation. The industry doesn't even realize it needs yet. Scott sees farmers as entrepreneurs, constantly pushing for what's next, and she expects Chekhov to really match that level of energy. Her focus is keep demand ahead of efficiency, expand those global markets, and make sure dairy stays relevant with the consumers who get information differently, if you will, than they did generations ago.
