When AI Shops for You, Who Owns the Customer? | Dov Kaufmann
What happens when every brand can create unlimited content for almost nothing? Content stops being the advantage. Attention does. AI is rapidly removing the cost and friction of creating images, videos, ads, product photography, and copy. That sounds like an enormous advantage, until everyone has it. Dov Kaufmann spent eight years at Yotpo, joining when the company was still small and helping build partnerships into a major part of its revenue before founding Tolstoy, where he is now CEO. In this episode of Aggaeus, Dov sits down with Haggai Klorman Eraqi to explore what AI could do to e-commerce, and why the biggest disruption may have little to do with creating better ads. Today, Tolstoy helps brands generate content at scale, publish it, test what converts, and increasingly personalize what individual shoppers see. But Dov believes we are heading somewhere much further. Imagine an AI agent that already knows your size, your style, what you own, what fits you, and what you are likely to need next. You may not browse a brand's website. You may not even make the purchase yourself. Your AI could do it for you. And that raises a much bigger question: If AI becomes the interface between brands and consumers, who actually owns the customer relationship? Brands that strengthen it have an opportunity to do something radically different: know what their customers want, personalize what they see, show them what products could look like on them, recommend the right product at the right moment, and perhaps eventually eliminate much of the friction that creates returns. The technology is moving quickly. But as Dov explains, technology is not necessarily the hardest part. In this episode, we cover: • Why AI is turning content creation into a commodity, and what becomes valuable instead • What happens to brands if AI agents become the interface between them and their customers • How Tolstoy is approaching personalized commerce, content testing, and virtual try-on • Why getting to 80% quality with AI is increasingly easy, but getting to 100% remains difficult If you are trying to understand what AI does to brands, e-commerce, and the customer relationship, this episode gives you a useful map of what may be coming next. Robots Need the Real World with Zachary Greenberger
Zachary Greenberger has spent his career in connected mobility, from working on Tesla’s Model 3 to six years at Lyft, and now as CEO of Nexar and Nauto. Today, their network includes roughly 350,000 connected cameras capturing around 300 million miles of road every month. But this conversation is not really about dash cams. It is about what happens when AI leaves the screen and enters the physical world. In this episode of Aggaeus, Haggai Klorman-Eraqi sits down with Zachary Greenberger, CEO of Nexar and Nauto, for a conversation about autonomous vehicles, physical AI, real-world data, leadership, and what machines still need to learn before they can safely operate around us. For years, autonomous vehicles were trained heavily through simulation. But eventually simulation reaches a limit. A traffic cone moves. A child rolls a ball into the street. Debris flies across a highway. A road changes overnight. The real world does not behave like a clean simulation. That insight changed how Zach and the Nexar team saw the company. What started as a network of connected cameras became something much bigger: a way to capture the rare, messy edge cases that autonomous systems need to understand. That led to BADAS, Nexar’s Beyond ADAS world model. And something surprising happened. The same model trained around driving could identify collision risk in drones, forklifts, delivery robots, humanoid robots, and other physical environments. The lesson was bigger than cars. If AI is going to move through the physical world, it needs to understand how the physical world actually behaves. In this episode, we cover: • Why real-world data becomes critical as autonomous systems improve • Why edge cases may be more valuable than millions of ordinary miles • How BADAS moved beyond cars into robots, drones, and other physical systems • What Zach learned taking over a founder-led company and later bringing teams together This is a conversation about autonomy, physical AI, data, leadership, culture, and why teaching machines about reality may require something simulation alone can never provide: reality itself. Why would anyone invest in that? with Gil Dibner
In this episode of Aggaeus, Haggai Klorman Eraqi sits down with Gil Dibner, General Partner of Angular Ventures, for a conversation about venture capital, AI hype, non-consensus founders, fiduciary responsibility, and why the best investments often look strange before they look inevitable. Gil describes himself as geographically confused: American, Israeli, based in London, investing across Europe and Israel. That outsider position shaped how he thinks. He is drawn to outsiders. To founders with something burning inside them. To technologies that do not fit neatly into a hype cycle. To companies where the first reaction might be: “Why would anyone invest in that?” In a market where venture dollars are concentrating into fewer funds, fewer companies, and bigger AI rounds, Gil argues that the old craft of venture still matters. But in venture, “simple” is never that. AI has made demos easier, valuations higher, metrics noisier, and consensus more expensive. Gil explains why founders need to understand the difference between real conviction and market heat and why investors need to remember they are managing other people’s money. In this episode, we cover: • Why AI has created strange new dynamics in startup funding • Why too much capital can distort both founders and investors • What makes a founder “best in class” or truly one of one • Why Angular looks for non-consensus companies others may overlook • Why AI adoption may be massive, but still slower and messier than the hype suggests Check out the full episode notes, transcripts, and all links on Substack: 👉 https://aggaeus.com/ (https://aggaeus.com/) SPONSORS - EXCLUSIVE FOR AGGAEUS PODCAST LISTENERS: KARDZ.BIZ BUY 2, GET 3 ON KARDZ.BIZ — UP TO $479 VALUE.
