Kakovostna prehrana manjša tveganje za razvoj demence

Predelana živila in sladke pijače večajo tveganje za razvoj demence. Raziskovalci so na Švedskem 15 let spremljali več kot 1.800 ljudi, starejših od 60 let, ki so imeli biološke zametke za potencialni razvoj demence. Ta bolezen se je potem razvila pri približno 250 posameznikih. Njihovi vzorci prehranjevanja so bili manj zdravi, manj so bili telesno aktivni, pogosto so imeli tudi pridružene bolezni. Kakovostna prehrana lahko do 30 odstotkov zmanjša tveganje za razvoj demence. Trenutno kaže, da bi lahko k preprečevanju demence pozitivno prispevala tudi kava.<p>"Prehranska industrija se bolj osredotoča na ustvarjanje dobička in okolja, v katerem bodo potro&scaron;niki izbirali njihove izdelke, kot na zdravje," pravi doktorska &scaron;tudentka Biotehni&scaron;ke fakultete Univerze v Ljubljani <strong>Anja Mrhar</strong>, ki je sodelovala v raziskavi.</p>

Tilda Swinton o filmu in življenju

Tilda Swinton je prav gotovo ena najbolj markantnih igralk svetovnega filma. Rodila se je v Londonu, a zase pravi, da je Škotinja, saj je njena rodbina Swinton ena najstarejših na Škotskem. Prvo filmsko vlogo ji je ponudil angleški režiser Derek Jarman, ikona britanske queer scene sedemdesetih in osemdesetih let s katerim sta skupaj posnela osem filmov. Njen opus obsega filme sodobne neodvisne scene in tudi hollywoodske uspešnice. Zase pravi, da ni igralka ampak performerka. Leta 2013 je prespala v stekleni vitrini newyorškega Muzeju moderne umetnosti kot del instalacije The Maybe. Njeno dejanje ni presenetilo le občinstva, ampak tudi zaposlene v muzeju, ki o performansu niso bili pravočasno obveščeni. Poleg oskarja je Swintonova prejela številna priznanja, med drugim posebno počastitev od londonskega Muzeja sodobne umetnosti, Beneškega zlatega leva za življenjsko delo in lani 2025 častnega zlatega medveda na Berlinalu. Tilde Swinton je bila letos častna gostja Canneskega filmskega festivala. Zbrani množici je v dvorani Bunuel pripovedovala svojo zgodbo.
