Alchemy with Nancy explores intuition, self-awareness, and the mysterious ways life speaks to us. From psychic abilities and mediumship to dreams, near-death experiences, and personality typology systems, each episode helps you understand yourself more deeply while expanding your sense of what’s possible. Whether you’re curious, skeptical, or already noticing the signs, this podcast invites you to explore perspectives that just might shift your own.
What happens when you stop letting everyone else decide what you should believe about your own experience?
That's a question I kept coming back to during my conversation with David Tran, a former corporate executive who spent 25 years working in digital marketing and data analytics before a profound shift in his life led him into the world of consciousness and psi.
David is a back-to-back Psi Games precognition competitor, taking first place in 2025 and second place in 2026. We talk about what precognition actually looks like in competition, what happened when his brainwaves appeared almost completely flat on the EEG monitor, why he thinks we're entering a renaissance of human abilities, and what happened when he finally decided to leave his corporate career and follow his calling.
We also talk about something much bigger: why we have such a hard time with uncertainty, how our brains constantly predict reality, why different consciousness communities sometimes divide themselves into tribes, and what might happen if we stopped trying to decide which experiences are “real” long enough to actually explore them.
What You'll Hear
What it was like for David to walk into the Psi Games with virtually no training in the consciousness space and leave as a precognition winner
Why David immediately dropped into meditation mode during his competition and what happened with his EEG readings
The surprisingly simple way David explains precognition using the everyday gut feelings we've all experienced
Why David believes the future of psi may be much more ordinary than people expect
What happens when you finally stop outsourcing your own knowing and have the courage to follow the thing that won't leave you alone

She Couldn't Visualize. Then She Had an Out-of-Body Experience.
My new friend S, who I met at Psi Games, sent me a meditation she created.
I put in my AirPods, laid down in bed, and tried it. At some point, I felt like I was floating in space.
But S's experience went much further.
After an incredibly difficult period caring for her dying mother while also taking over and trying to sell her family's 100-year-old pickle company, S began experimenting with the Gateway Tapes. There was just one problem: she couldn't visualize.
S eventually discovered she has aphantasia, so she began finding her own way into meditation using sound, touch, music, movement, and sensation.
What happened next became the inspiration for Sonic Vessel.
In this conversation, S shares the out-of-body experience she says allowed her to encounter her deceased parents, how profoundly it changed her afterward, and how she and musician Lisa Iwanycki turned that experience into an entirely different approach to meditation.
What You'll Hear
How S discovered that other people could actually see pictures in their minds
What happened when she stopped trying to meditate the way she thought she was supposed to
The experience with her deceased parents that changed everything
Why sound and sensation became central to the creation of Sonic Vessel
What happened when I tried S's meditation for myself

I Stuck a Quarter to My Forehead for 86 Minutes | My Telekinesis Experiment
On Day 2 of the Psi Games, I somehow managed to stick a quarter to a wall—twice. Then I tried to recreate it on camera, and suddenly it wouldn't work.
So I went into Day 3 with questions. By the end of the night, I had even more.
In this episode, I'm sharing the final day of my Psi Games experience—including meeting UFO experiencer Chris Bledsoe, hearing Nick Cook speak about UFOs, psi and consciousness, trying MindSight for myself, and the experiment that ended with a quarter staying on my forehead for an hour and 26 minutes.
What You'll Hear
What the perceptualists told me when I asked why the quarter stopped sticking when I tried to film it
What it was like meeting Chris Bledsoe after hearing his story the night before
The ideas Nick Cook shared about UFOs, psi, consciousness and our understanding of reality
What happened when I tried MindSight for the first time
The 86-minute quarter experiment that left me with even more questions
