   Episode 19: UFOs and Oligarchy

On February 20th of this year, the president of the US declared in a tweet that he would be directing the DOD to “begin the process of identifying and releasing” files related to the government’s knowledge of UFO’s. While this sounds hopeful, the unfortunate reality is that this seemingly good news comes at a time when the declining health of the United States’ democracy is more obvious than ever before. In this episode Nik and Tom will be taking a critical lens to the current power dynamics at work within the US, and attempt to answer the question of how these dynamics might influence the process of any formal UFO disclosure. As always we're pairing our discussion with a playlist of 3 songs from up and coming shoegaze bands from around the globe. The songs on this episode are: "Dreams" by The Riverside Orca https://theriversideorca.bandcamp.com/ "No Conviction" by Nursing https://whoisnursing.bandcamp.com/music "Who You Wish You Were" by Super Vehicle https://supervehicle.bandcamp.com/ We hope you enjoy this episode of the Aliengazing Podcast, and until next time: Stay spacey, and keep gazin'

Ep. 19: "Age of Disclosure" Breakdown and Review

Premiering at SXSW in March 2025, The Age of Disclosure is a documentary that aims to inform its audience about the ongoing push for full government disclosure on the UFO phenomenon. Especially notable is the amount of professional involvement and testimony from over 30 individuals, ranging from physicists, politicians, academics, and armed service members who collectively make the case for the serious nature of the UFO phenomenon, and the struggle to break through 80+ years of government secrecy on the topic. On this episode Nik and Tom review and break down the documentary, and attempt to answer the question of A) Does the film help move the needle forward for the disclosure movement, and B) Is this documentary itself a form of disclosure. As always this episode comes with a playlist of 3 songs from up and coming shoegaze bands around the world, including: Groundswell by Helens - https://helens.bandcamp.com/ Neon Zoo by The Dreamtoday - https://thedreamtoday.bandcamp.com/ Luces by Vapores - https://vapores.bandcamp.com/ We hope you enjoy this episode, and until next time, Stay spacey, and keep gazin'

   Ep. 17: UFOs and Mythology

For those who have been paying close attention to the UFO mystery there has been a consistent thread of whistle-blowers, and those supposedly "in the know" who characterize the phenomenon as being something "ancient." On this episode Nik and Tom search for clues hidden within various ancient mythologies from Greece to modern Catholicism that might shed light on potential connections to the UFO phenomenon. Combined with a few clips from 2 whistle-blowers and a key figure in the modern UFO Disclosure movement, this episode aims to build on ideas brought up in our previous episode, "UFOs and Esotericism." As always this episode will feature 3 songs from the following shoegaze artists: Neoprene - Jeanwilder Bandcamp (https://jeanwilder.bandcamp.com/) Curve - Animal Ghosts Bandcamp (https://animal-ghosts.bandcamp.com/) The Meadow After Sunset - Gem Sluster Bandcamp (https://gemsluster.bandcamp.com/music) We hope you enjoy this episode of the Aliengazing Podcast, and until next time... Ep. 16: Esotercism and UFOs - The Chris Bledsoe Story

On this episode Nik and Tom delve into the Chris Bledsoe Story. Bledsoe is most widely known for his 2023 autobiographical account of his experiences with UFOs, titled, UFO Of God. These experiences are what eventually lead him to be able to summon UFOs, which he's documented extensively on his Instagram account (@christopherlentzbledsoe). However what ultimately raises the implications of Bledsoe's story is the accumulated interest he's generated in various figures within the CIA and NASA, as well as today's most prominent UFO researchers. It's a wild and deeply compelling story that may hold an important key to understanding UFOs in the modern age. This episode features the following artists/songs: - Cosmoline - "Popsicle" (Cosmoline.bandcamp.com) - Total Wife - "Second Spring" (totalwife.bandcamp.com) - Skeever - "Impedance" (skeeverphl.bandcamp.com) We hope you enjoy this episode of the Aliengazing Podcast! In addition to discussing the book itself, we also discuss the whistleblower testimony of David Grusch, the Mexican UFO trials and Jaime Maussan's "alien mummies", and a few other paranormal/conspiracy rabbit holes. It's a really fun episode, and to go with our paranormal discussion, for music on tonight's episode we are continuing our feature of bands from the Digital Nature Alternative Music Festival in Orlando last November. Aliengazing Podcast Episode 13: Disclosure Exposure!

The latter months of 2023 were jam-packed with UFO news, so Nik and Tom dedicate an entire episode to sort through it all. On this episode we cover all of the following: - Schumer Amendment to the 2024 NDAA (regarding UAP) - SOL Foundation Conference at Stanford University - David Grusch's Joe Rogan Interview - Daily Mail Article Claiming CIA is Housing at least 9 UFOs It's an entire smorgasbord of UFO intel, and due to the sheer quantity of info, this episode will definitely be one of our longer ones. However we're confident the listener will walk away from this episode as confident as we are that the outlook for new UFO revelations in 2024 is lookin' pretty dang good. In addition to the onslaught of UFO News, we also have a warm and dreamy selection of East Coast shoegaze music, all coming from bands who played at an alternative music festival here in Orlando, Pulp Fest: Digital Nature. Here's the track list for today's episode: Funeral Homes - "Double Vision" https://funeralhomesss.bandcamp.com/ Midi Memory - "Eternal Dream" https://midimemory.bandcamp.com/ Mist Double - "Around You" https://mistdouble.bandcamp.com/ Deadharrie - "My Wishbone" https://deadharrie.bandcamp.com/ Saucers Over Washington - "Desert Sky" https://saucersoverwashington.bandcamp.com/ Be sure to follow and check out all the bands on today's episode and we hope you enjoy listening! Aliengazing Podcast Episode 12: UAP Hearings and David Grusch Whistle Blower Interview

Summer is still in peak heat, and the heat has never been hotter for the UFO topic ever since whistleblower, David Grusch's interview with both the Debrief and Newsnation in June! Though some of his claims, such as the existence of a government-run UFO crash retrieval program, seem out-of-step to skeptics, his credibility as a former Intelligence officer carries a weight that can't be ignored. And it won't! Congress scheduled a hearing on UAPs July 26 where they heard witness testimony not only from Grusch, but also Ryan Graves and Commander David Fravor on the breadth and depth of their experiences with UAP under oath. We've spoken about both Fravor and Graves' UAP encounters on previous episodes of the podcast (Check out episodes 1 and 3). Though their experiences were extraordinary, the most astonishing revelations came from Grusch, who recounted nearly the entire content of his Newsnation interview before a bi-partisan panel of genuinely interested members of congress. On this episode Nik and Tom have an open conversation about the UAP hearings and whistleblower interview with David Grusch while unpacking the significance of this latest development on the road to disclosure. As always we have a playlist of crisp and cool tunes to space out to, including: "How to Shining" - Lucy's Drive www.lucysdrive.com "Vervedriver" - sorry hurts "Union" - Corvallis "Soundasleep" - Laserbrain "Unapologetically" - Captive Frame captiveframe.bandcamp.com This is a long one. We wanted to get this out ASAP, so we decided to leave the conversation mostly uncut (aside from audio tweaks for clarity). Could pair nicely with a late-summer road trip, if ya happen to be going on one soon. Wherever you listen, we hope you enjoy. Stay spacey, and keep gazin'

   Episode 11: "The Varginha Incident"

During the early weeks of January 1996 in the small, Brazilian town of Varginha there began a series of events initiated by multiple sightings of a UFO crash landing that would change the town forever. From the initial sighting of the UFO and subsequent military blockade established in the town to multiple sightings and interactions with a red-eyed "creature," the Varginha Incident is one of the most compelling UFO cases of the late 20th century. While the case has not been the most well-known, it was most recently the subject of a brand new documentary, "Moment of Contact" directed by James Fox. On this episode Nik and Tom dive into and reveal the details of the case presented in the documentary and speculate on a few ideas of their own about just who or what visited the town of Varginha that fateful January. As always we've got a couple excellent shoegaze tracks from bands with brand new releases this year that we encourage you all to check out after you're done enjoying this episode :) Music: Trillion "So Soon Now" Trillion Bandcamp (https://trillion1.bandcamp.com/album/so-soon-now) Backstep "Recycled" Backstep Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/artist/4RoiZDcioS5fix72h5PkOJ?si=dCnz6VnYQs2pzn3tI5fwsg) Stay spacey, and keep gazin'

Aliengazing Podcast Episode 9 - "The Majestic Documents"

Between the late 80's and early 90's there was a set of documents that began making their rounds through the UFO research community. One leaked document lead to another and by the mid 90s we had an entire collection of files that have since been dubbed, "The Majestic Documents." These documents can be read in full via the Majestic Documents website (https://majesticdocuments.com/), which includes the documents, evidence for their authenticity, and a list of witnesses who corroborate various pieces of the information contained within. From alien bodies in the desert to potential connections to the Kennedy assassination, it's all on the table, baby! Join us as we dive into the depths of the holy grail of UFO conspiracy weirdness and ground it all with some tastefully selected, melty shoegaze tunes to help take the edge off the ol' existential anxiety. After a long delay, we finally present the conclusion to our Disclosure Special!! On this episode Nik and Tom go through the UFO Report to Congress page by page to uncover some of the finer details of the report, revealing a few contradictions along with greater implications than it appears to give away on the surface. No longer can anyone ever say that UFO's are not real. In addition to our main topic we also provide a short segment of UFO's in the news, including a story involving a "jellyfish" UFO! Aliengazing Podcast - Episode 7: Disclosure Special Part One - "Why Now?"

What's up Aliengazers?! In case you haven't been paying attention, UFO's have been in the news a lot lately, and it's no surprise! Media outlets have been buzzing with interest in the upcoming UFO report to congress that is (as of now) set to be released on June 25th. So to help listeners sift through the myriad of information and possibilities, Nik and Tom decided to do a two part series on recent disclosure. Part one, which will be featured in this episode, will focus on attempting to answer the question, "Why now, and what might we learn?". Part two will be recorded and posted a couple of weeks after the UFO report to congress has been released and will attempt to unpack all that the report contains within it, while also offering our own thoughts, theories, and speculation. Additionally on this episode we have our longest segment of UFO's in the News yet! We weren't kidding when we mentioned that UFO's have been in the news a lot lately, so the extended length was absolutely necessary on this episode. As always we have a couple, blissfully gazey tracks to share in this episode as well. We hope you enjoy :) Music featured in this episode: "Resin" by Phantom Wave https://phantomwaveband.bandcamp.com "Todo Se Hizo Negro" by Nax https://naxmusic.bandcamp.com/
