The Conditioning Culprit is the podcast for growth-oriented, high-achieving individuals ready to initiate radical change in life and work. Equip yourself with the awareness and mindset shifts required to ditch the outdated paradigms that keep you stuck, whether they are personal, professional, familial, or societal. Those limits must be identified and burned down, replaced with what authentically aligns for you. When you confront the conditioning that's not serving you, you have the power to make transformative changes that improve your life holistically.
Detoxifying Masculinity: What if men held men accountable?
What does it mean to detoxify masculinity, and what is the role men play in holding one another accountable?
I'm joined by my friend and colleague, André Davis, philanthropist and social activist.
In this conversation, I'm joined by my friend and colleague, André Davis, philanthropist and social activist. We explore the conditioning around masculinity that can make silence, conformity, and looking the other way feel easier than speaking up. We talk about what accountability really looks like, how awareness becomes action, and why meaningful change often requires us to get uncomfortable.
The conversation expands beyond masculinity into social justice and the uncomfortable work of challenging what has become normalized. From the Civil Rights Movement to current cultural conversations (including the Callaway golf ad, the Lindsay Clancy trial and the documentaries surrounding the death of a pastor's wife and the Ohio State wrestling scandal), we examine the conditioning underlying these societal challenges.
Most importantly, we explore what men can do differently: how men can create greater awareness, challenge one another, and be an active part of the solution in addressing these misaligned norms.

*While I wait for an official opportunity to create an audiobook, I decided to record myself reading it for those who prefer to listen rather than read. Please keep in mind that I'm not a professional narrator! That being said, I hope you enjoytaking in the content this way and get value from it.
There's more to this world than each of us. When you have the courage to do the work personally, you create a ripple in the people around you. Imagine how different the world would be if people operated from aligned authenticity rather than from fear and conditioning. Do it for you. Do it for the collective.
This book is for those who are serious about making change. There are guiding questions at the end of each chapter to help you do the work. To make it easier to follow along, I've created a free workbook download (https://forms.gle/d6tqXXqyNd7RFH2m6) so that you have the questions available when you're ready to dive in.

The transformative journey requires a huge commitment on your part. This is the quest of your lifetime, but you'll also never be "done." Be willing to do the work, show up, get back on track when needed, and persist - tenaciously. Is it hard? Sure. I can't lie to you. But it's also deeply exhilarating when you see the positive results of your efforts. There's no instant gratification here. Expect to be challenged as you attempt to makechanges. Refine your process as needed. Center yourself and stay present.
