Microlight: Shuttleworth Festival of Flight Preview

In the absence of RIAT this year, there is one air show that has Bradley and Keiran truly buzzing. This week on All The Gear, No Idea, the lads preview Shuttleworth's Festival of Flight, their mini-RIAT for 2026 and quite possibly the most anticipated event on the calendar.

From the world's only flying Bf 109E making the trip over from Germany, to the full Flying Bulls fleet lit up under the evening sun, there is no shortage of reasons to be excited. Bradley can't stop talking about the Avro Anson Mark 1 and its Second World War costumed crew, while Keiran has his sights set on Team Raven and a redemption arc with the RAF Typhoon in the evening light.

They also dig into what makes Shuttleworth such a special venue for aviation photography. The east-facing crowd line, the famous shed, the aircraft that feel like they're practically on top of you. Plus tips for first-timers, their personal shot lists, and a word on the new camping package.

Oh, and England play Panama on Saturday night. Apparently there might be a screen.

Whether you're heading to the show or just living vicariously, this one's essential listening for any avgeek.

Find us:
Bradley: @thrust_aviation_imagery
Keiran: @FlybyCode (Instagram) | Keiran Wilkinson Photography (Facebook) | keiranwilkinson.com
