All These Wonderful Things is a weekly podcast about documentary film and the people who make it, hosted by filmmaker and Cinema Eye Honors founder AJ Schnack with Oscar®-winning producer Lisa Remington.
The show takes its name from the blog Schnack started in 2005, whose arguments about the crafts nobody was recognizing — cinematography, editing, producing, composing, sound and visual design — led directly to the founding of Cinema Eye Honors. Twenty years later, as Cinema Eye reaches its twentieth edition, the podcast picks those conversations back up with filmmakers, craftspeople, distributors and curators.
All These Wonderful Things is a production of Cinema Eye Honors and DSP Studio.
Lisa and AJ dive into the first doc awards announcement of the season from DOC NYC and Critics Choice. Plus AJ calls our the Doc Branch slander coming from Oscar pundits who assume a snub of You Can See Everything is looming.
