[…] We have three rail lines. Actually, if you add up the number of track miles that we have, we are a top five commuter and inner city rail system in the United States. We do all this utilizing a state appropriation exceeding $300 million per year. So behind the scenes, it's a huge responsibility. And we do all this with a small but mighty team. But we don't just oversee operations. We also, of course, are working on a variety of very exciting upgrades to our rail transportation system throughout the state. The time for CT, again, is really focused on enhancing travel time to New York City. But what we did do in advance of the time for CT capital program being advances, we were able to introduce new super express trains. […]
