The DSA and Radical Immigration Policy

Matt and Brett take a dive into the agenda of the Democratic Socialists of America, especially in regard to the America border and immigration enforcement. The DSA is associated with characters like Bernie Sanders, Zohran Mamdani, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez—and continues to gain traction in America, even with political candidates like Florida’s Democratic nominee for Senate, Angie Nixon, who joined the DSA this year. Their policy priorities include eliminating the U.S. Senate, prisons, and ICE. To get more clarity, the Doster brothers will talk to Ammon Blair, a former U.S. Border Patrol agent and Army intelligence analyst. Blair serves as a Senior Fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation and offers firsthand perspective on the realities agents face on the ground. He will explain how drug cartels are the major players in illegal immigration and continue to be a threat to our national security.

Midterm Elections, Congressman Salazar’s New Television Ad, Developments in the Middle East

Today Brett and Matt are talking about—you guessed it!—the Midterm Elections. We’re down to 6 weekends until the pivotal election, with control of the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House hanging in the balance. The boys will run through the latest polling and give the latest handicapping on the chances for Republicans to hold both Houses. They’ll talk about Congressman Maria Salazar’s new television ad breaking with the Trump administration on immigration enforcement policies, and then they’ll review some of the latest developments in the Middle East, including the new front opened by the Houthis on the Red Sea.
