I design men's clothes in NYC. I like to pay attention to the details and resolve the things that bother me. My videos show my thoughts and work behind the scenes.

Short month due to vacation, but making progress | EP10 Sep'26
I want to believe going away helped because I'm not a routine person. We'll see if that means the next episode is better or worse because I'll be out of town again next week for a bit.

How did I get here? Hertling (sort of...) and me | EP9 Aug '26
As I get closer to finalizing my projects, I'd like to share how I got started and to where I am. I got lucky living in NYC, met some industry folks, and then the ball started rolling. It even involves Hertling, the most famous American trouser factory and maker for Paul Stuart, J Press, Andover Shop, BODE, and more.

Things are comfortable. Are they too comfortable? I think I need to do more... | EP6 May '26
The new factory and I seem to be getting along well. We're making some steady progress to get things ready for production.
But I don't want to get too comfortable. I think if everything's going well here, I need to tighten up other areas that aren't as healthy...like those photos I don't have.

Preparing Pants for Production | EP2 Jan '26
Monthly update for Jan 2026
I am preparing for factories to make samples of my pants. Some hiccups along the way, but I'm trying my best to review everything beforehand.
Short updates on swim trunks, single breasted jacket, and sweater as well.

Hello | EP1
In this first episode of American Breakfast, I talk about why I’m starting a men’s clothing brand and why I’m obsessed with getting pants right. I get into what’s gone wrong so far—from samples that don’t match the pattern to the hunt for a factory I can trust—and why I decided to share the whole process as it happens.
