EP01 EN- 123 Countries, a lifetime of stories, and the father’s role in Vietnam’s freedom with Son

Vietnam is a country with a rich history, delicious cuisine, and warm hospitality. The conversation highlights the unique aspects of Vietnam, including its wars, cuisine, and natural wonders. Vietnam has a long history of wars, including victories against powerful nations like China and the United States. The cuisine of Vietnam, with its combination of Asian and European influences, is becoming popular worldwide. The country is also known for its natural wonders, such as the Son Doong cave, the largest cave system in the world. The Vietnamese people are known for their hospitality and welcoming attitude towards guests. Vietnam would be better if people took the time to talk to and understand the Vietnamese people. The Vietnamese have a tendency to criticize themselves, which allows for self-reflection and a lack of imposition on others. Additionally, the Vietnamese are forgiving and have moved forward from the past conflicts. In this conversation, Son shares his experience growing up in Vietnam during the war and the importance of forgiveness in moving forward. He emphasizes that the Vietnamese people do not consider nations who invaded them as enemies forever, but rather the actions of politicians during the war.
