Among The Missing

About Among The Missing

On January 28, 2017, Elaine Park vanished without a trace. Five days later, her car was found on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu - keys in the ignition, lights still on, and all of her belongings inside. The only thing missing, was Elaine. Hosted by Troy Taylor, Among The Missing examines every detail of Elaine's case - evidence, timelines and testimonies - whilst also exploring the personal toll of chasing answers across years of investigation, from the other side of the globe. Both a search for truth and a journey into the weight of obsession, the series shines a light on Elaine's disappearance, and the unanswered questions that still demand justice.

The Devil's the One Who Tells You There's No Hope (Blunt Force Trauma Preview)

Published 28 Mar 2026 · Transcript excerpt

[…] Bye. The tiny town of Wewoka, to the southeast of Oklahoma City, is kind of quaint. It's got that old industrial town vibe to it that a lot of small towns in the Great Plains of America seem to have. It's this feeling that you can't quite put into words. It was pretty cool. Okay. And Sasakwa is, I don't know, it's probably maybe a hundred people. But it's also a town that has each other's backs. Wewoka, I mean, this was just right outside of Wewoka. This was a state highway that is a thoroughfare from Wewoka to Sasakwa. Cattle ranchers would sometimes, when they're trying to sell cows or horses or whatever, would use that highway to get to the Ada cattle sale. […]
