We exist to make disciples who are anchored in Christ by simply presenting the Gospel in a way that places Jesus Christ front and center. We are Christ-centered and people-focused.
What does it look like when a community of believers is truly firing on all cylinders? Acts 2:42-47 gives us a front-row seat to the early church at its most alive, and what we find there is both convicting and inspiring. These first Christians were not just attending a weekly gathering and going home. They were devoted, daily, to the Word, to one another, to worship, and to the world around them. The passage reveals a church that was unified, Spirit-filled, and overflowing with a joy that drew others in. The spiritual lesson here is not complicated, but it is demanding: connection to God and connection to each other are not separate pursuits. They are one.

Why We Still Need the Church
We live in a world more digitally connected than ever before, yet loneliness and isolation are at an all-time high. This message confronts that paradox head-on, drawing on the story of Thomas in John 20 to remind us that face-to-face community is not optional for the life of faith - it is essential. When the risen Jesus appeared to the disciples behind locked doors, He did not wait for them to get their act together. He showed up in the middle of their fear, their failure, and their hiding. That same grace extends to us today. The church is not a building we attend out of obligation, it is the living, breathing body of Christ, designed by God to be the answer to our deepest longing for connection. When we gather together, something happens that no screen, no algorithm, and no social media feed can replicate. The peace that Jesus spoke over his disciples is still being spoken over us - but we have to show up to receive it.

What If It Was Jesus?
What would we do if we crossed paths with Jesus himself - hungry, sick, or forgotten? That question sits at the heart of a message drawn from Matthew 25:35-46, where Jesus makes a stunning declaration: the way we treat the most vulnerable among us is the way we treat Him. This is not a peripheral teaching. It is a direct challenge to how we move through our daily lives. The message walks us through three essential movements of compassionate living - seeing people, recognizing Jesus in them, and then actually serving them. We are reminded that compassion is not a feeling to be admired from a distance. It demands action. It demands presence. The story of Jesus healing a man with leprosy in Mark 1 becomes a vivid illustration of what it looks like to draw near to someone the rest of the world keeps at arm's length. Jesus did not merely notice the man. He touched him. That distinction between noticing and acting is one we are all invited to sit with honestly.
