In our first episode in a year, we return to discuss the notion of “completion.”
Why “the cycle has been completed” is a specter, the un-finality of death, the afterlives and postscripts of friendships and creative works, “getting it popping,” messianic time, ascendance to Unc-hood, and more.
We also ponder Nick’s recent visit to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin III in Spring Green, Wisconsin, discussing the need for a recommitment to the creation of new forms as we enter a possible ice age for language.
