Andrew Reichert on Purpose, Resilience, and the Rhythms That Keep You Aligned
Some turning points don’t just “teach you a lesson.” They redraw the entire map. In this episode, Andrew Reichert shares three moments that redirected his life: getting expelled from high school, a night that landed him in a jail cell, and a cancer diagnosis in his first year of marriage. What’s powerful is the clarity that came after: the shift from drifting to designing, from living for himself to living with intention and service. Andrew’s story is a reminder that alignment isn’t a one-time breakthrough; it’s a practice. We talk about the daily rhythms that help you stay grounded when life gets loud, and why resilience isn’t something you “either have or don’t”… it’s something you build. What You’ll Hear About The “day of reckoning” that came with getting expelled, and what it revealed about identity and approval The moment in a New York jail cell that triggered Andrew’s faith journey and a new question: What am I made for? Why running “two parallel lives” eventually collapses, even if you’re succeeding on paper How cancer reframed time, meaning, and what it really means to “number your days.” Andrew’s “Rhino Operating System”: why alignment comes before the charge, and resilience is the skin you build over time The morning routine Andrew has practiced for ~10 years, and how keystone habits keep you in the driver’s seat Resources Mentioned Rich Dad Poor Dad - Book (https://a.co/d/09zIoFw1) The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod - Book (https://a.co/d/0iMWhbrR) SAVERS morning routine (Silence, Aation, Exercise, Reading, Scribing) - Video (https://youtu.be/gHLOSHh6wis?si=HwKyEkODgQPckFnz) Priorities on Purpose by Andrew Reichert - Book (https://a.co/d/0aRgE31m) Enneagram personality test - Link (https://www.truity.com/test/enneagram-personality-test) About Andrew Andrew Reichert is the founder of Birgo Capital and the author of Priorities on Purpose. Two Friends, Three Pivotal Moments: Dr. Nik and James Prince on “And That Changed Everything”
What do golf greens, roller coasters, and a simple slinky toy have to do with building a purposeful life? For Stel and James, each was the beginning of a powerful story that shaped who they are today. In this crossover episode, Mary sits down with her dear friends and former Meaningful Mischief (https://www.meaningfulmischief.com/) co-hosts, Dr. Stel (also known as Dr. Nick) and James Prince, to explore the pivotal experiences that continue to guide their lives and work. James is a UK-born criminal defence lawyer turned wealth advisor in Abu Dhabi, helping high-net-worth families connect money to meaning. Stel began as an optometrist but expanded his practice to helping people, teams, and families connect to their broader vision and purpose. From James’ teenage years on the golf course that sparked a career in law and wealth management to Stel’s early optometry visits that inspired his path as a visionary coach and author, their stories show how the qualities that define us often appear long before we recognize their full influence. Highlights from the conversation: James’s first lessons in discipline and connection on the golf course and how they opened doors into leadership and service. Stel’s first pair of glasses, his leadership through sports, and how creating inclusive teams became a lifelong theme. The rollercoaster moments, both on the track and in life, that taught them courage, trust, and new ways of seeing possibility. Why connection, contribution, and embracing your story matter for anyone seeking to live with purpose. Chad Jenkins on Why Everything Is Collaboration
What if the future is the precise return to the past that we all need? Chad Jenkins, serial entrepreneur and founder of The CoLab by SeedSpark, shares the three moments that shaped his life and his approach to business: learning the art of value creation as a child trading horses, transforming industries by noticing points of friction, and discovering that everything in life is collaboration. From his “Creation Code” to his daily practice of gratitude, Chad shows how vision, imagination, and collaboration open doors to possibility. This conversation is about shifting from competition to creation, from scarcity to abundance, and about the limitless potential of combining your unique gifts with others. Key Lessons & Takeaways The Creation Code: Collect relationships, awareness, knowledge, and experience, then combine them to create new value. Imagination as an advantage: In the idea economy, creativity and vision matter most. Collaboration as growth: Growth accelerates when we bring strengths together and share outcomes. Gratitude as a daily unlock: Deep, specific gratitude creates awareness and perspective that changes how you see the world.
