[…] So how do we draw conclusions about such a broad category? So he made it. Yeah, he a lot of people misunderstand what he was saying there. What he was saying was we it was a statistical argument, not a curricular argument. So by all means, if you were just talking about tech writ large, You're toast. Who the heck knows what that means? That's academically untenable. But what you can do is talk about different forms of tech. What different machines are we using? And then you can talk about what different pedagogical elements do those different pieces of tech introduce into the learning system. So just as a simple example, you can say, all right, if we read from a hard copy book versus a screen, That is an example of using digital technology for an identical pedagogy in two different contexts to see what impact does the medium have on the outcome we're looking for.
