Angeles is a faith-based space where real life meets God’s truth. Hosted by Maria, founder of Christian Apparel, this podcast is here to remind you of who you are in Christ, even in the middle of life’s challenges. Through honest conversations, Bible-based encouragement, and real-life experiences, each episode is designed to help you grow in faith, find strength, and walk confidently in your purpose.
You are chosen. You are growing. You are not alone.
What happens after the hardest season of your life is over, but you’re still learning how to live again?
In Part 2 of my Carried testimony, I’m sharing how everything I experienced changed the way I see myself, my family, my faith, and my purpose.
From learning to appreciate my body after four children and medical complications to choosing peace over perfection, I’ve discovered that giving myself grace is just as important as continuing to grow.
I’m also opening up about feeling behind in life, redefining success, and learning to surrender my plans to God.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that my worth isn’t measured by my appearance, my accomplishments, or how many people see my work.
Even if something I create encourages just one person, I know it matters.
And through it all, I’ve learned to say:
“God is the CEO, and I’m only His designer.”
Inspired by the Samaritan woman’s testimony in John 4 and the lessons we’re studying in James, this episode is a reminder that God can still use us while we’re healing, learning, and growing.
I’m not perfect. I’m still a work in progress.
But I’m alive, I’m grateful, and I’m still standing.

Carried: God Wasn't Finished With Me
What happens when God’s plans look completely different from your own?
Before I became pregnant with my fourth child, I received a promise that I would have a baby boy. At the time, I had my own plans for my career, my family, and the business I had just launched. But God had a different timeline.
In this deeply personal episode, I share one of the most difficult seasons of my life. From life-threatening blood clots and multiple hospitalizations to the premature birth of my son, I experienced fear, uncertainty, pain, and moments when I didn’t know what tomorrow would bring.
But through it all, I held on to my faith.
Psalm 116:8 says, “For you have rescued me from death.” Those words carry a meaning I will never forget.
This testimony is about more than what I survived. It’s about what God taught me, the purpose I discovered through the pain, and why I believe He isn’t finished with me yet.
I’m also sharing the heart behind a very special new chapter: the rebranding of Angeles Company to Carried, a Christian apparel brand inspired by Isaiah 46:4 and the reminder that we are never carrying life alone.
And I’m officially announcing that Carried launches this December!
To everyone who prayed for me and my baby, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Fear doesn’t control me anymore. God isn’t finished with me yet.

The Father Who Never Left Me
Some wounds come from losing someone. Others come from having someone who is still alive but was never truly there.
In this episode of Angeles The Podcast, I open up about one of the most personal parts of my story: growing up with a father who never wanted to be the father I needed.
I share what it felt like to watch other little girls experience their father’s love, protection, and presence while secretly wishing I could have that too. From rejection and abandonment to witnessing the pain my mother endured, these experiences left wounds that followed me into adulthood.
But through it all, God has been teaching me something beautiful: my earthly father may not have chosen me, but my Heavenly Father always has.
This episode is for every daughter or son who has ever questioned their worth because of a parent’s absence. For the little girl still waiting to be chosen. For the adult still healing from childhood rejection.
You are not forgotten. You are not unwanted. You are loved by a Father who will never abandon you.
“Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.” — Psalm 27:10 (NLT)
Today, I can finally say something that means so much to me:
“I am God’s little girl. I always have been.”
Let’s talk about healing, forgiveness, breaking generational cycles, and discovering our identity in the Father who never left.
With love, Maria Angeles 🤍
