「地獄先生ぬ～べ～：26年ぶり新作アニメが7月2日スタート 初回は1時間SP 分割2クール放送」 「週刊少年ジャンプ」（集英社）で連載された人気マンガ「地獄先生ぬ～べ～」の新作アニメが、7月2日午後11時15分から放送されることが分かった。初回は1時間スペシャルで、2話連続で放送され、以降のエピソードは、テレビ朝日系のアニメ枠「IMAnimation W（イマニメーション・ダブル）」で放送される。分割2クールで放送されることも発表された。第2クールは2026年1月から放送される。「地獄先生ぬ～べ～」の新作アニメが制作されるのは、1999年発売のOVA「地獄先生ぬ～べ～ 史上最大の激戦！ 絶鬼来襲！！」以来、約26年ぶりとなる。

「地獄先生ぬ～べ～：「怪」に続き新作「PLUS」が「ジャンプ＋」に 5月からW新連載 26年ぶり新作アニメも話題」 「週刊少年ジャンプ」（集英社）で連載された真倉翔さん原作、岡野剛さん作画の人気マンガ「地獄先生ぬ～べ～」の新作「地獄先生ぬ～べ～PLUS」が、集英社のマンガアプリ「少年ジャンプ＋（プラス）」で5月14日に連載を開始することが分かった。同作は、5月2日発売の「最強ジャンプ」（同）6月号でも、新連載「地獄先生ぬ～べ～怪（かい）」がスタートすることが発表されており、W（ダブル）新連載が始動することになった。
