我開始製作這個 Podcast，是希望英文學習者能有更多接觸**自然、真實英文**的機會，同時練習英文的聽力和口說。我在台灣教英文已經 15 年了，而現在學生要找到**不是 AI 生成的真實英文音檔**，似乎越來越難。我一直相信，Podcast 是訓練英文聽力，以及練習用更接近母語人士的方式說英文，非常好的方法。
但問題是，市面上有很多 Podcast 不是針對**完全初學者**，就是直接面向**高級程度**，中間的程度好像很少。
而偏偏這個「中間」——也就是**中級程度**——正是許多學了很久英文的人最容易卡住的地方。
所以，這個 Podcast 就是為你而做的。🎧🇬🇧

After a recent trip to Europe the jet lag was so bad that we had to talk about it...
How do you deal with jet lag?
Have you ever experienced really bad jet lag?
What do you do to get over jet lag quicker?
As well as super useful vocabulary and phrases, in today’s episode I share a modern slang phrase ⬇️
Verbing a Noun: In modern slang, turning a noun into a continuous verb ("was jet lagging") acts as an intensifier. Instead of just stating that you had jet lag, it personifies the condition as actively and relentlessly doing its job - making you exhausted, disoriented, brain-fogged, or wide awake at 3:00 AM.
動詞化名詞：在網路和Z世代/千禧世代的俚語中，將名詞變成進行式動詞（例如「was jet lagging」）可以起到加強語氣的作用。它不再只是陳述你經歷了時差反應，而是將這種狀態擬人化，彷彿它一直在積極且持續地發揮作用——讓你感到精疲力竭、神誌不清、頭腦昏沉，或者在凌晨3點依然清醒。
